stin23 Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 Hey i fish central florida ( small retention ponds) and am also looking for when i travel up to Wisconsin over the summer. So recently ive seen alot of KVD crankbaits on basspro. They look pretty good but before i purchase, any opinions? Quote
bigbasshunter Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 Their all good, just need to swap the hooks out. Quote
Diggy Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 squarebills and red eye shad both work well I usually use sexy shad or chartreuse black back in squarebills 1.0 , 1.5 , 2.5 -- 1.0 has been killing it for some reason, big fish are eating it too 3-4 lbs on the regular red eye in sexy shad and various stuff I find on sale Im fairly new to them, some guys here know all the ins and outs/ colors to use Quote
NCbassmaster4Life Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 They work very well during this time of year. Quote
The American Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 1.5 squarebill and 1/2 oz red eye shad in sexy shad color. They slay. Quote
craww Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 Great value. I netted a 10.4lbr for a friend who hooked it on the 2.5 Quote
boogs318 Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 sexy shad KVDs are great. I prefer Bandits Tennesse shad in 200 series. Quote
DanGoetz Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 I love the KVD 1.5 and 2.5 square bills. I fish alot of smaller bodies of water and they are great. Big fan of sexy shad and the chartruese and black back. Quote
