Blue Streak Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 I have heard this is a pretty good bait, but I don't think there has been very much talk about them on here. Has anyone had good results with them?
Fishbone Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 Crap, I just had the 'Bait Monkey' put to bed for a couple of winter months; here we go again!
Super User grimlin Posted December 12, 2009 Super User Posted December 12, 2009 I like their 4'' Mutant creature bait. This brand seems to be really popular in TX when i went to visit my parents. Very underrated bait IMO.
Hitch Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 Wat/red and trophy hunter are awesome colors.
txfishman Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 the megatail in the green pumpkin and trophy are the hottest sellers we have.
moby bass Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 Crap, I just had the 'Bait Monkey' put to bed for a couple of winter months; here we go again! Yeh! But those do look awesome. Haven't seen them in any stores, may have to give 'em a shot in the spring.
senko_77 Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 I was hoping this question would never come up. I guess there are more people out there other than me freakin slaying them with the Rattlesnake. It's a great bait that moves a TON of water. I'm a big fan of the Mineola Fall color. Take a 1/0 Gamakatsu EWG with a 1/32oz. split shot pegged right to the nose and pitch it around shallow cover. Deadly
bigtimfish Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 Grande Bass makes some awesome baits. Not much talk on here about them, hey that might be a good thing. I have caught tons of fish on the mutants. The rattlesnakes are very good too. Combat Craw is my favorite color. http://www.grandebass.com/gb93t/store/photo-pop.asp?AutoID=334
Blue Streak Posted December 13, 2009 Author Posted December 13, 2009 What happened to the replies on this topic from MOEDOG13? I thought they were very informative and I did not see anything wrong with what he wrote.
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted December 13, 2009 BassResource.com Administrator Posted December 13, 2009 Turns out he's directly affiliated with the company and was trying to boost sales. A big no-no here.
Blue Streak Posted December 13, 2009 Author Posted December 13, 2009 Turns out he's directly affiliated with the company and was trying to boost sales. A big no-no here. Since when did trying to boost sales become a no no on this forum? The guy just stated how he fished them and that they were productive. I did not see one word about promoting their sales. Does that mean we can't say Academy sells great baits and they catch fish for a lot less money than the more well known?
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted December 13, 2009 BassResource.com Administrator Posted December 13, 2009 Please read the FAQs for further clarification. Thanks!
Blue Streak Posted December 13, 2009 Author Posted December 13, 2009 I have read the FAQS more than once. Thanks.
MOEDOG13 Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 Jerry from Grandebass, if your on this site can you set this guy straight and tell him that I am not affiliated with you or Grandebass!!!!! I will admit they did help my son out in the past!!!!!
MOEDOG13 Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 WOW!!! I can't believe this, all because I replied to a post regarding these baits.
Super User Bassin_Fin@tic Posted December 13, 2009 Super User Posted December 13, 2009 I have read the FAQS more than once. Thanks. I think the real point is do you really want to have a site that is nothing but spammers trying to promote their baits with pop ups and ads.It would be very hard to seperate all fantasic info from the BS. Advertising is a service and it isn't free. Ps. Sorry Glenn.I'll keep my nose out of it.. :-X
