Well i moved to guam about a yr and a half ago on a military pcs. I tried fishing out here but its really fished out. Catch some fish here and there but not many. So i started crabbing recently. The coconut crabs are land crabs. So we just put our really nasty stinky bait outside caves at night and go away for about 30 min come back and there chowing on the bait then just scoop them up. This one weighed in at 3.5lbs and is the biggest coconut crab i caught so far. These things get huge so i really want to catch a monster. This one somehow crawled up my wall and was trying to get into a cabinet in the garage. These things sure can climb.

Haha ya everyone says it looks like a big spider... We cook it in coconut milk, garlic, and salt. Good eating right there boys. Oh and its butt is like a lobster tail. People pay big bucks for these bad boys.

Kill it, kill it with fire! Then maybe eat it. Do they move fast or are they as slow as they'd look like they would be?

There somewhat fast..when you try to grab them there quick. they can take off a finger in a second. There super strong to theres a certain way to grab them. They rip apart coconuts with ease so ya a finger would be nothin lol. And yes definitely eat it.
