Super User Crestliner2008 Posted May 27, 2012 Super User Posted May 27, 2012 Good to hear you guys like beer! Most people look down at their noses at a beer drinkers in just about any group. Myself, I'm an IPA aficionado. And I've tried a lot of them. I love the bite of the hops and if I can't taste that, I'm disappointed. Right now, West Coast IPA is my no.1 favorite. Quick bite, smooth flavor, with an after taste that asks for more. I do not care for malt beers like Sam. Too sweet with no bite/kick to them. Light beers are not my cup of tea at all. Use to brew my own, years & years ago. Stopped because raising a family and staging 3 brews at a time, just didn't work out! Way too much time involved with the cleaning processes. Now I'm retired, I'm thinking about brewing again. We'll see. Quote
NoBassPro Posted May 27, 2012 Posted May 27, 2012 Lately Bells Oberon or Goose Island 312, but my favorite changes every month or two. Quote
Fish Chris Posted May 28, 2012 Posted May 28, 2012 Crestliner Most people look down at their noses at a beer drinkers in just about any group. Really ? Most people where ??? I'm always amazed at just how many people believe that BS DRUG (alcohol) is totally okay. Just never a problem. Completely socially acceptable. Just goes to show how wrong the general public often is. This is yet another reason I almost never follow the crowds. Peace, Fish PS, Crestliner, "if" you mean to say, they look down at beer drinkers > while they drink wine or hard alcohol... Ha ! That would be completely retarded. It's all the same BS drug. Quote
tyrius. Posted May 29, 2012 Posted May 29, 2012 Now I'm retired, I'm thinking about brewing again. We'll see. You should, especially, if you like IPA's. You can really make some good stuff and it's much cheaper than buying specialty brews. Quote
Traveler2586 Posted May 29, 2012 Posted May 29, 2012 I don't drink beer often, but when I do, I use two hands. Quote
