My wife bought me an obnoxious colored Columbia shirt, I would call it "Bright Coral", what the hell was she thinking of. I't's been hanging in the closet for 3 years, unworn.

What size and style is it? I might be interested for 50% off on a three year old shirt.

I just recently returned from KY Lake. I got a little burnt on Sunday and Monday went out and got this shirt. I really like the shirt. When you sweat the breeze lifts the moisture and cools you. I was pleasantly suprised at how well the shirt worked at keeping me cool. They do run small and are a compression type shirt. I bought a 2xl and it fits loose, which is hte way I want it to fit.

Most all of my shirts are Magellan brand and are relatively inexpensive avg. $25 and hold up well to my use and conditions. I wore about 6 of them full time for a season and was more than impressed so now I have 20 or more. The Lake Fork model cottons are the ones I wear and are spf 20. They make nylon that is spf 50... haven't tried those as of yet.

If you have a Bealls outlet nearby, that is a great place to get men's Columbia fishing shirts at a discount. I rarelt see women's Columbia shirts at the outlet, but I have worn the Men's if it is a small or medium size.

Ditto on the floppy hat with brim or the shade hat with neck flap and sun buff. I wear the gloves too.

My husband likes the Columbia or World Wide Sportsman. He wears them to work until they get a stain I can't get out, then they become a fishing only shirt.

Where do you find them Big O? Same question for your camo shorts; I think they're digital camo aren't they?

The main problem I have with fishing shirts is the sleeve length. I wear a 38" sleeve, so if anyone knows which brand will fit me, it would be appreciated.

LOL, I thought I recognized those shorts while walking through wally World the other day, that's why I asked. :)

I was looking for "The Monkey" ;)

WOW, I just went to Academy S+O (don't want to advertise here) and found the shirt. Thanks for the tip!!!

A good looking shirt for only $19.99.

The description reads:

"Be prepared for your next fishing trip with the Magellan Sportswear® Men's Laguna Madre Fishing Shirt. The fishing shirt features pockets with drain holes and a waterproof pouch (that's in case you fall in). The vented cape back helps keep you cool, and the shirt has UPF 50+ protection to shield you from the sun's harmful rays. Rod loop. Button-down style."

Steve, you just made a big fan of me.

I have a few Columbia PFG and love them. My wife bought me a under armour one this spring and I love it! It not only keeps you cool but somehow it keeps me warm on cool mornings. I do not know about SPF rating I know it has one but they are worth checking out! Also, she bought it at a outlet store so it was relatively inexpensive something like 35 dollars.
