Wildbillb Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 Looking for 4 and 5 inch. I want something other than Yamamoto. They are getting harder to find close to home. Help me out. Thanks Quote
Super User .ghoti. Posted May 8, 2012 Super User Posted May 8, 2012 Try Chompers and the BPS version. Just don't leave an open bag of chompers in your vehicle when it's warm out. Quote
Super User iceintheveins Posted May 9, 2012 Super User Posted May 9, 2012 Chompers, Yum, BPS, and Arkie. Quote
Super User Fishes in trees Posted May 9, 2012 Super User Posted May 9, 2012 I prefer the Chompers and Arkie brands. Arkies are usually available at WalMart. Quote
Super User eyedabassman Posted May 9, 2012 Super User Posted May 9, 2012 Chompers hands down for me! Quote

X2 I have a question though ghoti, I seem to recall another thread that you suggested not doing this same thing with jj's...hhmmmm...are you like prone to spilling/leaving things in your car that has a fowl stench for a reason? LOL. Quote

backwater4 Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 Try looking for some hand pours. A lot of guys make some really nice hula's and they're normally cheaper and in bulk. Flecks Baits in CA made me some great ones last season. Quote

Delaware Valley Tackle Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 Cabin Creek spider grubs are HUGE here in PA Quote
Super User .ghoti. Posted May 9, 2012 Super User Posted May 9, 2012 LOL. When I traded in the vehicle that the JJ's had spilled in, it cost me several hundred bucks. When they asked what the smell was, I told them. They deducted the price for a new piece of carpet and installation from my trade-in. Quote

I may have bought the car just for the smell! LOL Quote
