Super User Munkin Posted December 8, 2009 Super User Posted December 8, 2009 Some of you guys need to come do some real winter bass fishing with me. I am talking about avoiding ice floating downriver, 35 degree water temps, swishing the rod in the water because I eyelets froze shut. Produces the biggest SM of the year though? Allen Quote
Super User Goose52 Posted December 8, 2009 Super User Posted December 8, 2009 I was fishing with my brother near Ocala FL last week. I only had an hour to fish and I got skunked but the next day my brother got a 1lb and a 2.5lb LMB fishing an unweighted T-rigged 6" plastic worm slooooow. Surface water temp was 70deg in FL - when I got back to TN the water temp was 48...and dropping. Quote
GAJ Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 Hey all, my first post here. A few days ago, from shore, I was throwing a swimming senko with a 1/8 oz swimbait hook by Mustad. Wanted to get the bait on the bottom, which was about 8 to 10 feet. Jigged it along the bottom, and got two nice ones in just a few minutes (all the time I had). Get that tail going along the bottom. -Greg Quote
