BassBandit35 Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 I know the ISG has Dream Tube jig but, I don't want an exposed hook. I tried the Bite Me vertical eye tube jig by inserting it then texas rig it unfortuantely it doesn't work well like I expected. What weighted hook would be best suited to TR the Dream Tube? Thanks. Super User Gone_Phishin Posted December 7, 2009 Super User Posted December 7, 2009 Falcon has a weighted Gammy EWG from 2/0 to 4/0. Their weighted Superline hooks go up to a 6/0 and 1/4 oz. Owner has a really slick weighted tube: http://www.***.com/descpage-OWTH.html Tackle warehouse has a ton more weighted hooks as well. Then there's always the old fashioned way of a bell sinker slipped onto the hook, or crimping lead on the hook. Quote

Super User Gone_Phishin Posted December 8, 2009 Super User Posted December 8, 2009 No prob. I am in a similar boat, as I usually do not fish tubes with an exposed point. The majority of my bass fishing is done off of our dock, and in the grass. I usually T-rig the ISG tubes with EWG hooks. Just a personal preference. 8-) Quote
