I'd like to take my gf and son out somewhere to fish. Bass bream catfish bluegill. Markham is close but can end up being crowded

Can and will fall back on bread if all else fails so they aren't bored

Sunrise has a nice community park. Welleby Park at NW 44th Street and Hiatus. Lots of small bass and bream in the pond. Some facilities (pavilions /grills/ and restrooms) there too.

I believe that Welleby has a fence around the lake, at least it did years ago when I lived in Sunrise. Markam is a good place to bank fish. I used to hit the lake in the NE corner near the bike trails/ range entrance. Always did well there. It may be crowded but few will be fishing.

My former club used to have a fishing day once a year for the kids, held at Welleby. No fences at that time. I have not been there for 2 years, so you might want to drive over there and check it out before loading up the gf and kids.

I'm dropping my wife off at the Ft laud airport Monday morning, after a quick stop at BPS to pick up some bucktails I'm gonna do some fishing. Can't make up mind to head west and search for peacocks or fish the Griffen canal near the airport, I've never had much success there, I should have the outgoing tide.

Welleby has a fence but the complex that is on I can get to.

I took them to where I snakehead fish and caught lots of bream to keep them happy.

I can try tradewinds again. Ill just bring other accessories (football, etc) in case they get bored

Local parks that I've had some luck at:

Tradewinds

Markham

Twin Lakes

Tree tops

CB Smith

Central Park (might be "no fishing" now)

Thanks...I think central is no fishing..Plantation hates fishing it seems.
