This past weekend my friend got me hooked on buzzbait fishing he told me to try one after seeing him catch fish after fish on them so i did and started catching a lot of fish and now that has become one of my favorite ways to fish.

So this brings me to my question what buzzbaits do you guys like the most?

i want to try a double bladed buzzbait but dont know what one would be of good quality

I have had good luck on booyah single blade. I also have clacking ones. Cavitrons work well too but cost more.

Cavitron. Can't even remember the last time I threw any other buzzbait.

Norman!!! Old school and works perfect. It can be reeled in a hair slower than the modern ones today. Nothing like a Norman buzzbait with a pork trailer. Cannot be beat! Game set match charlie murphy

If you like buzzbaits you should check out the new Snag Proof Bobby's Perfect Buzz Frog! I did fish it last year and it caught a ton of bass in open water, slop, deep docks, over hanging trees ect. It was one of the better buzzbaits that I have ever fished!!!!

I like the old fashioned single blade with no clacker. Usually white. I will probably end up buying the buzz bait mold before to long and start building myself.

Terminator or Booyah, the double blade produces big bass. Try throwing one out on summer nights or during the spawn, you won't be slummed if the big bass are around.

6 good reasons and almost 23 pounds of reason to fish a cavitron.

I fish alot of Booyahs with the clackers right now

Any double buzz users? what one do you use?

hmm I have a cavitron but have yet to catch anything on it yet! Ive caught several fish this year with the 3 blade strike king buzzbait from walmart. These work best for me in my area. white in color

I have lost three Calvitrons and never caught a thing on them. Boohya pip squak consistently lands me fish, I love it's noise, and it works through cover very very well. I have also tried the Boohya counter spin double blade, it made a great and very different noise. I would recemond both highly. I did not find the calvitron to be too expensive, very comparable price wise. On the other hand, I did not find it so vastly superior to other buzzbaits like some feel. The noise and bubble trail is rather standard issue and I think a boohya can be workly just as slow and if I am looking to go very, very slow.... then the sputter buzz comes out.

I have a bps xps buzz bait I'm waiting to try. I have two strike king buzz baits and never even felt a strike in either. This year's goal is to park on that dock and fish that buzzer all night.

Any of you guys use the mister twister top prop? They are on sale and I just picked up a few

What's the best color for a buzzbait?

Depends, personally: white/charturse mostly year round. Night time, black, because the bass use more of a feel at night then line of sight, in a full moon case it's all about presenting a shadow.

Never used one, but reviews as a good top-water bait.

Roadwarrior is right ON!!! Fish Cavitrons and rage shads. Sometimes one works better than the other, so carry BOTH! I like some other buzzbaits (strike king elite, lunker lure, and accent hi - rider B2), but hands down Cavitron is best. IMO they are the Michael Jordan of buzzbaits, the undisputed best.
