CFFF 1.5 Posted May 3, 2012 Posted May 3, 2012 I love Producto Tournament Worms. They work wonders down here in FL. I can't find anywhere to buy them anymore. Dicks doesn't carry them anymore and Gander Mtn quit carrying them also. Bass Pro never carried them and Tackle Warehouse doesn't carry them either. Does anyone know where I can buy the Producto Tournament Worms or an imitation Tournament worm. Quote
Super User grimlin Posted May 3, 2012 Super User Posted May 3, 2012 Go to their website....Producto lures. Unless ordering online is a problem for you? Quote
Super User Crestliner2008 Posted May 3, 2012 Super User Posted May 3, 2012 Northern Bass Supply carries them too. Great plastics! Quote
CFFF 1.5 Posted May 3, 2012 Author Posted May 3, 2012 Thanks guys. I went to the producto website and found out that they are manufactured about 10 minutes from my house. I'm going to contact them and see if I can buy them direct to save on shipping. Quote
Stasher1 Posted May 3, 2012 Posted May 3, 2012 I've never used their worms, but I have one of their floating snake lures from the 80's that's pretty cool. I just wish I could get a replacement tail for it. Quote
tennsopher Posted May 6, 2012 Posted May 6, 2012 Bitters bait &tackle in Longwood carries their worms.I ordered on line 100ct jggle tails(an excellent worm) in purple w/ice blue tail. They are located in Sanford off Commerce Drive.I live in Orlando and it took about three weeks to get my order.Subsequently I called and asked if I could pick them up at the warehouse and was told that would be fine.If you can get there,it will save you a lot of time. Super User OkobojiEagle Posted May 6, 2012 Super User Posted May 6, 2012 Maybe Crestliner or others will add a little more info about the Producto line of baits. I've never used them but the 3" spring grub and 4" spring worm look interesting. I fish the Kalin's grubs on light jigheads and appreciate the easy action of their tails... how do the Producto grubs compare? oe Quote
Super User ww2farmer Posted May 6, 2012 Super User Posted May 6, 2012 I cringe every time I hear the word Producto. Any one local around here knows why. Quote
Super User OkobojiEagle Posted May 6, 2012 Super User Posted May 6, 2012 I've been around a number of years and don't know what you're speaking of? oe Quote

I just rig them Texas style and have caught a LOT of bass on them over the years. Started using them...probably sometime in the late 70's. They've been around a LONG time. Very supple and soft with lots of action. I've only used them in dark purple though. I do not have any experience with other styles of their plastics. Just too many plastics out there to try everything! Quote
Super User OkobojiEagle Posted May 7, 2012 Super User Posted May 7, 2012 Very supple and soft with lots of action. Those are the words I was hoping to read. oe Quote
Super User Cgolf Posted October 25, 2018 Super User Posted October 25, 2018 Bringing back an old thread, to find out if they are still the same company and molds as the worms I have from the early 90's. They have tagged me in a few posts on social media and if it is the same company might do an order. They do have a really nice looking 4" tourney grub as well that would work nicely on the waters I fish. https://www.productolure.com/ Quote
Super User fishwizzard Posted October 25, 2018 Super User Posted October 25, 2018 Their Tourment Worm is great. It is soft, durable, and super cheap. They are my favorite t-rig worm by far. 1 Quote
Bob Davin Posted November 21, 2022 Posted November 21, 2022 “Super Cheap too” Not any more. $50 for a 100 Ct bag of 6” Tournament Worms Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted November 21, 2022 BassResource.com Administrator Posted November 21, 2022 Welcome to 2012! I'd fathom that the cost of airfare has gone up over the past 10 years too! Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted November 21, 2022 Global Moderator Posted November 21, 2022 $.50 a bait IS pretty cheap anymore ?♂️ 1 Quote
