Is it any better than the original rad chatterbaits, I was thinking about picking up a few.

I believe the Boogee has better components. On the original Rads, the hook rusts and the trailer discolors, much more so than the Boogee. The latter also has a barb to keep the trailer in place. However, I had no personal evidence that one draws more strikes than the other.

I agree with Marty and Brad, the components seem better on the Boogee Bait. Last season I bought a Rad and two Boogee Baits and in a short time the hook was rusted on the Rad, but my Boogee Baits are like new.

As Marty said, I haven't noticed any difference in strike ratio between the two.

The one problem I have had with Boogie's is that the blade is soft and will bend easily. This can make your lure run shallower or deeper than you may want it to. Some may consider this a plus as it does give you that ability to tune them, but for me it was an aggravation.  I do like their colors though.
