Went out to Colonial beach last friday and blasted this sailboat. Took about 13hrs to complete spread between the last two fridays. Used regular playsand to take off the paint and pit up the gel coat so my client could put a new coat of epoxy on it. The last coat of epoxy didn't stick very well after a local blaster sodablasted the paint off, i'm guessing that the soda dust wasn't cleaned off properly. But, nonetheless my partner and I took care of the job and hope to see him on the water soon. This was actually my first experience blasting a boat, hopefully it won't be my last.
