Joel S Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 Ok guys lets see just how many bass you've caught far this if you're keeping track. I have no boat and just got back into it last week. I've only caught 9 so far because I don't have much time after work to fish. Plus only a couple of small ponds to choose from for now till I get a boat. Quote
North Ga Hillbilly Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 I doubt it is over 50 in all, but im fishin for those big bites. 12 over 5# 6 over 8# 3 over 10# NGaBH Quote
Super User 00 mod Posted April 30, 2012 Super User Posted April 30, 2012 I will report exact numbers of fish and days on the water tomorrow! I have it all written down at work! Jeff Quote
Deadeye-1 Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 Setting on 140 right now. Usually get one day a week on the water, some weeks two. Largest this year to date is 4 lb 5 oz. Lost one at boat that would of been around 6 lb and had one that wrapped me up on the motor and got off that was the biggest bass I've ever personally seen. Quote
Super User Goose52 Posted April 30, 2012 Super User Posted April 30, 2012 249 but nothing 6lbs or over. Five 5 pounders, four 4 pounders, twelve 3 pounders, the rest smaller. Quote
Joel S Posted April 30, 2012 Author Posted April 30, 2012 That's some nice weight on those fish north GA hillbilly. Quote
shimmy Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 I doubt it is over 50 in all, but im fishin for those big bites. 12 over 5# 6 over 8# 3 over 10# NGaBH Hey amigo, how many of those donkeys were caught outside your honey hole? Either way you have jedi mastered that spot it seems. Quote
North Ga Hillbilly Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 Hey amigo, how many of those donkeys were caught outside your honey hole? Either way you have jedi mastered that spot it seems. Ive got 2 over 8 and then several over 5 in diffrent water. The honey hole is really two places, so the other big ones are split between the two. NGaHB Quote
Jake P Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 I wold say about 45 give or take a few. Nothing ove 5 lbs either. The bite has been tough here at the 2 lakes i frequent, especially my main lake. There have been numerous tourneys recently including the bps spring classic in feb and im almost certain no one has even caught a limit. I know there was a tounrey last sunday and i spoke with the organizer and he said no one caught a limit. I went this morning and caught 4. 3 dinks and 1 3 lber. We were catching 30 a day in the may-july and 30 a day again from sept-novemeber. Just a matter of time!! Quote
ROCbass Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 Unfortunately the amount of bass I've caught this year is the same as the amount of times I've been fishing this year, and it's less than 1. Hoping to get out once school winds down Quote
Mike__D Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 A big old 0!!! Sucks for me as bass season only opens in about 2 months. Last Saturday in June to be exact. But once open it's game time! Mike D Quote
Super User 00 mod Posted April 30, 2012 Super User Posted April 30, 2012 85 bass so far(LM and SM, not including whites/strpies) and 23 days on the water targeting bass. A total of 27 days on the water so far this year.(3 days trout fishing and one bream) Jeff Quote
kylek Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 I don't know an exact number but I would guess between 75-100, with the biggest being a 4.11lb. Now if we can count white bass in with largemouth the number would be over 150!!! Quote
Super User J Francho Posted April 30, 2012 Super User Posted April 30, 2012 I don't keep track, but it's less than 100 right now. I do have one over 7 lbs. Quote
Super User Dwight Hottle Posted April 30, 2012 Super User Posted April 30, 2012 I had about 12 largemouth between 5 and 9-2 while down in florida this year. I keep track of smallies over 5lbs. Had 38 smallies over five lbs & six over 6lbs for the month of april in my boat. Quote
Super User Hi Salenity Posted April 30, 2012 Super User Posted April 30, 2012 I don't keep track but I'm trying. I got a thing to keep track but I can't remember to push the button after I catch a fish. My guess would be several hundred Quote
general3380 Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 Don't know an exact number but somewhere around the 100 mark...most of them 12-15" but have probably 8-10 in the 3-4 pound range and one 6.5 lb and one 6 lb Quote
shimmy Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 Kinda suck at getting numbers at the main lakes i fish (small and heavily pressured)! Much different than other lakes i have fished in the past. Been out 4 times and caught 17. Several nice ones in the mix. Nowadays, if i catch over 7 in a day, i was just killing em! Kinda sad. But, the bright side, when i travel and hit a normal lake, i GREATLY appreciate the high number days. Quote
Super User Wayne P. Posted April 30, 2012 Super User Posted April 30, 2012 I keep a record of numbers of bass caught. As of yesterday, 26 days and 732 bass Quote
Super User 00 mod Posted April 30, 2012 Super User Posted April 30, 2012 I keep a record of numbers of bass caught. As of yesterday, 26 days and 732 bass WOW!! Wayne on fire! Same number of days almost as me, but 650 more bass! VERY NICE!! Jeff Quote
Super User J Francho Posted April 30, 2012 Super User Posted April 30, 2012 That's like 30 bass a day. Do you have weight distributions? Quote
Super User Wayne P. Posted April 30, 2012 Super User Posted April 30, 2012 It is close to my 2009 count for the end of April where I had one less bass and two less trips. Quote
Super User Wayne P. Posted April 30, 2012 Super User Posted April 30, 2012 I only keep general size class records. 19 bass 4# - 6# and three over 6#. The rest are under 4# dinks. Quote
