WookieeJedi Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 Is that a chug-bug in his mouth? That may be the biggest topwater bass I have ever seen. Quote
Fish Chris Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 Well not "every" lake... but if its a lake fairly well known for big bass, usually. Peace, Fish You guys hold record by lake? Quote

Nodda4me Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 wow that big fish can't break that popper off? Quote
Super User WRB Posted April 28, 2012 Super User Posted April 28, 2012 Didn't see this thread until now. There was a good surface going on at Perris, but a 18.8 lb giant on a Chug Bug... amazing. Just goes to show that a bass of a life time is just one cast away and you never know when it could happen. Perris at one time held the world record spotted bass and yes some CA lakes keep tabs on records, most are unofficial. Tom Quote
"BRB" Posted April 28, 2012 Posted April 28, 2012 That's a awesome bass!! I like to seen that thing bust a topwater bait! Quote

Super User 5bass Posted April 28, 2012 Super User Posted April 28, 2012 Man, just think if you were in really clear water and saw a shadow like that coming up behind your bait! Quote
FourCorners Posted April 28, 2012 Posted April 28, 2012 Wow that's awesome. It looks like he only had one treble hooked up too. Quote
Joel S Posted April 28, 2012 Posted April 28, 2012 That's one of those fish we all wish to catch one day. That's a huge fish. Nice job Dan! Quote
Big-O Posted April 28, 2012 Posted April 28, 2012 WOW beautiful fish and I can only imagine how he felt when she surfaced beside the boat www.ragetail.com Quote
Fat-G Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 That doesn't even look like a bass! Please, please, PLEASE note the fact that that man IS NOT holding the bass out at all. It is right next to his hip. Look at his hand in comparison to the fish. That is one of the coolest-shaped bass I have ever seen, hands down. Good job sir! Quote
