Super User Hooligan Posted May 27, 2012 Super User Posted May 27, 2012 We call lures by different names so that others fishing tournaments have no idea what we're talking about. It's funny, you'll hear them at Bass Pro or something looking for a wang-doodle, and they have zero idea what it actually is. Oh, and the other thing pretty much all of my baits are named- Jigs; as in: "What'd you get em on?" "Jigs." Doesn't matter if it's a 6XD, the answer is ALWAYS "Jigs." 1 Quote

I know some guys like that. its OK until they start throwing my medium diving "poppers" over 2 foot weedy flats on 6lb test spinning tackle. Needless to say, they can't afford anything more than a WalMart special and a bobber. They may think they are smart, but that is a one and only time type of deal. If you are that dumb keep your feet on the bank, you don't deserve a boat ride. Sorry for the rant, but I've taken idiots out once or twice thinking or hoping they knew a few things only to find out they were FOS. Not into wasting my time and lures. Quote
