Super User Crestliner2008 Posted April 22, 2012 Super User Posted April 22, 2012 Excellent article! Thanks. I wish I had a nickle for all the similar arguments I've had over finesse fishing. You can acutally "finesse" fish a 10" worm! Quote
Super User bigbill Posted April 23, 2012 Super User Posted April 23, 2012 Excellent article! Thanks. I wish I had a nickle for all the similar arguments I've had over finesse fishing. You can acutally "finesse" fish a 10" worm! One evening i had a 13'' pickerel try to eat a 12'' shad culprit worm. Luckily he bit exactly were the hook was in the head. This was my first fish on a worm that big. I have used 6'' plastic worms since the early 70's. Awesome video. Quote
WookieeJedi Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 There was a time when I just had one spinning rig for bass fishing, now I have four and use them as much as my baitcasters. Braided line, FC line, and a huge improvement in spinning gear has made a big difference for us and opened up techniques that old spinning reels and monofilament used to prohibit. I still remember stringing up my spinning rig with 20# Gorilla Braid for the first time. That was a real game-changer. Quote
