I.rar Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 I happened to stumble across rimfirecentral.com and now im picking up my 10/22 on monday. I have a tapco stock , hammer and some other parts on the way already. Iron sights , rails , covers and extended handles are coming soon. Anyone else have a 10/22 or other .22s built up? Quote
Super User clayton86 Posted April 22, 2012 Super User Posted April 22, 2012 iv always wanted to my wife wants one more then i do i just cant seem to bring myself to spend that much on .22 as sweet as it would be now the 10/17 they used to make or the volqerstien(sp) id spend a little more on but the VOL. one is like 1700 i think still WAYYYYYYY to much granted i used to spend that uch and then some on paintball rigs but iv grown up more and thats alot for a rimfire. I.rar Posted April 22, 2012 Author Posted April 22, 2012 I agree 1700 is a bit much on a .22 build but different strokes , different folks. I'll probably have around 600 into mine when im done which is much cheaper than my buddy spent on his AR build and the cost of ammo is minimal. I'll just be using it for plinking. Salenity , that is a beautiful rifle. I'm not a huge fan of yellow but that looks really nice. Quote
Mountain Angler Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 Yes sir i do i Built this for about 400 dollars Quote

And it was a 5 shot group yeah I hear ya I love mine my wife loves it even more lol. I can hit quarters at 200yards i tried posting a pic of it but it says its to big and idk how to down size it im a huge fan of the .17 family id love to find an older 10/17 but there so hard to find they only made it for a year or so didn't they. iv thought bout getting a 10/22 and doing a mild build for a coon gun for at night with the dogs the 917 is kinda heavy and long for it.
