Looking to purchase 3, 31 series optima blue tops. Any pros/ cons, etc? I just want to make sure they're a good battery. Using an older dual pro charger also. Ok?

Few of my fishing buddies have tried them with somewhat good results. Make sure the connections are good and secure. For some reason, if they get loose they drain much faster!

I have used 50+ red tops. I have nothing to say but good things about them! Other than the price I have NO complaints!

Edit: These were not in a boat!

I got tired of adding water and having messes in the boat so I put 2 blue tops in about a year ago. I fish a lot and they have held up all day long. I even used them in upper Bull Shoals where I had to hold against current all day long and they did fine.

I don't run one of them for cranking. I opted for the Sears DieHard AGM with 1150 CCA and the same 3 year replacement that I got with the Optimas.

I have a 15 amp Dual Pro. I called them to see if the charger was ok or needed an upgrade. I was told that all is well with my charger and AGMs.

Went with the 2 (31 Series) Blue Tops for the trolling motor and the Diehard PM 1 (31 Series) for the cranking battery. Also picked up a Minn Kota 330D charger. The old Dual Pro was a 1998 model and I didnt know how it would do with the AGM's. Thanks for the help.
