NCLifetimer Posted April 24, 2012 Posted April 24, 2012 JB Custom Snake rod with a lews tournament pro. Best bass rod ever made, if you ever fish with one id bet some good money you'd agree. Quote
KCL655321 Posted April 24, 2012 Posted April 24, 2012 Powell Endurance 723C with MGX-SHS has probably become my favorite casting combo. So light & balanced and it had plenty of muscle to pull out three 4 lbers & a 6 a couple weeks ago while feeling every little thing I drug my jig across. I only have one spinning set-up currently, but I really like it, a Lucky Craft Light Drop Shot with Premier 30, although I have a Patriarch 30 in the mail & will be picking up a L powered St Croix LTW or LE in the not too distant future. Rippin' Lips Posted April 24, 2012 Posted April 24, 2012 6'9 Boyd Duckett or 7'0 BPS Carbonlite for senko fishing! Quote
BassinNY Posted April 24, 2012 Posted April 24, 2012 Powell Max 703C. Sensitive, light and priced right!!! Quote
Bryce C Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 I would go with my 7' Heavy B&R Custom Outlaw rod without a doubt. Best pitching rod I have ever used and because of the way it loads I can throw a ton of different moving baits on it well, treble hooked lures included. Quote
BassHunter954 Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 My berkley lightning shock rod 6'6 mh attached to my abu garcia silvermax for now!!!!!!!!! Quote

BassHunter954 Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 Is that a little gator you're holding there man? yes its is a gator... =) caught him on a frog brought him in played with him all day and put him in a lake were I released like 4 baby gators in the past 7 to 9yrs. Now an the lake is closed off so I can see him whenever I want hopefully Quote
Osprey39 Posted April 26, 2012 Author Posted April 26, 2012 Cool, I've never seen one that small. I grew up in Florida and I've seen some huge ones but never a little bitty one like that. Quote
BassHunter954 Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 He wasn't that small like a hatchling. He was about 2 an half feet long.. he looks small cause I had to shrink picture to set it as my default... but yea there are huge ones here september to november ill post up pics of the bigger ones I'm gonna catch.. stkbassn Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 It has to be my Powell Composite Deep Cranking rod with a Curado 200E5...Man do I love using this combo....It's awesome. A close second is my Fenwick Elite Tech Swimbait rod...I got to use it last Friday for the first time and had an awesome day of catching big smallies on on a Huddelston Deluxe....Sweet rod...paired with a REVO S...sweet combo. Super User Hi Salenity Posted April 26, 2012 Super User Posted April 26, 2012 I'n not going to say it's my favorite but I have a rod I call "left eye" It's a 7'11'' Rage with a crooked guide! 1 Quote
boystcroix Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 I gotta go with 7ft med/fast StCroix extreme with Shimano 200e curado reel. This rod gets the most action out of my arsenal Quote
Mike__D Posted May 1, 2012 Posted May 1, 2012 Tough call... I'd have to say it's a toss up between either my 7 foot M or MH St.Croix Elite casting rods. Both are amazing multipurpose rods. However I did recently buy a 7'1' MH shimano cumulus rod, haven't fished it yet so I cannot compare, but I presume it will equally great. Mike D Quote
Super User .ghoti. Posted May 1, 2012 Super User Posted May 1, 2012 I have a bunch of rods and reels. I can't say which would be my numero uno, but the following four always go with me. Loomis GLX 7'1" M-XF Setyr Response 7' M-F St Croix LTB 7' M-F St Croix Avid 6'8" M-XF Quote
piscicidal Posted May 2, 2012 Posted May 2, 2012 Yeah, it's tough to pick one. Kind of like asking which is your favorite kid. The Dobyns DX745 is always with me, even when the other kids are sitting home in timeout... Quote
thehooligan Posted May 2, 2012 Posted May 2, 2012 My favorite would have to be my 6'3 Fenwick medium action elite tech smallmouth rod and shimano 2500 ci4, its so light and smooth. Quote
Hot n Tot Posted May 2, 2012 Posted May 2, 2012 Yeah, really hard to pick just one. Right now I think it's my Loomis BCR803 GLX, but I really like my St. Croix rods, especially my Legend Elite 6'-6" Medium-Fast casting rod. Quote
tezz32 Posted May 3, 2012 Posted May 3, 2012 6'8" mxf crucial spinning(the older cork handle one) and a 2500ci4 Quote
ajwhite765 Posted May 3, 2012 Posted May 3, 2012 Mine would have to be my bps carbonlite 7'0 mh with a curado 51e spooled up with 15 p-line florouclear line. It is solight and pitches about 50 feet with a jig Quote
