As i have tomorrow morning off from work and was unable to participate in the round up last week, i am trekking north to coral springs to take out some of life's frustrations on some snakeheads. Loaded up on frogs this morning and hope to have a good outing, i may even see how they taste. Hopefully i'll have some pics up at this time tomorrow!

Its deemed snakehead day! They better run for their lives. FYI, the best time to hunt them is in the afternoon, they are more active then.

well had a good morning today. caught 4 alltogether. the 4th one i couldnt get a pic of because i didn't have my phone in my pocket, and also a 2lb bass. i threw buzz frogs(my favorite) and had about 12 or so blowups. Very exciting to say the least. It was also great to hear the crack of the bat also, haha. Hope the pics load up well and i'm glad to do my part in bass conservation today!

Nice, glad you were able to get some on the line. lol@ the bat comment. I dont have the heart to bopem in the head so I usually toss them to the animals in the bushes. Its catch and release from now on for me

Thanks guys! @gambler, i had never really fished in coral springs so i used google earth to pick out a few spots. The few canals i found were in the western part of coral springs north and south of sample. One of the spots i was able to walk a good half mile down the bank before i ran out of room. It looked great but only produced one fish there. @diggy, i do feel a little bit of guilt when they get whacked, but i see it as helping save the bass population. Good luck to everyone fishin the round up tomorrow, wish i could partake but i do work on saturdays. Hope to see a lot of pics!

I'll have to try that the next time i go. I'll have to find more spots on google earth that look accessable from shore. I had a great time and i'm itching to do it again! Thanks for the info!

The bass will be there, they swim with them and all. It's hype

I've caught a few but haven't found too many places I've enjoyed fishing from shore, pretty much have lost interest in catching them. Saltwater runs to thick in my veins......lol. Haven't done any serious bass fishing in a couple of weeks.
