Jacob34 Posted April 17, 2012 Posted April 17, 2012 Have a fun spring fishing season. I'll be sitting in my couch watching Phineas and Ferb with the children rehabbing my shoulder. Tight lines 1 Quote
Super User Marty Posted April 17, 2012 Super User Posted April 17, 2012 Good luck with that shoulder. Hope you're back on the water soon. Quote
CoBass Posted April 18, 2012 Posted April 18, 2012 I know it will be tough, but don't try to come back before your rehab is complete, even if your shoulder is feeling fine. I know a lot of people who have re-injured their shoulders because they thought they were good to go even though their docs told them they weren't. Quote
Michael DiNardo Posted April 18, 2012 Posted April 18, 2012 Good luck with the shoulder Agent P. Love that show. Mike Quote
Jacob34 Posted April 18, 2012 Author Posted April 18, 2012 CoBass you're preaching to the choir This is the third time I'm getting my rotator cuff done. I first injured it in high school playing baseball and I never really gave it the proper time to heal back then and now I'm paying for it. I re-injured it playing slow pitch softball a couple weekends ago after turning a double play and throwing the ball back to the pitcher Quote
Jacob34 Posted April 18, 2012 Author Posted April 18, 2012 Mike, I could probably watch that show all day long , now if I could just convince my little girl that it's better than my little ponies I'd be golden Quote
jeremyt Posted April 18, 2012 Posted April 18, 2012 Sorry to hear that, I had a partial tear of my rotator cuff when I was 19, very painful. At least you get the quality time with the family, the bass will be waiting for you. Good luck with the rehab. Quote
Jacob34 Posted April 18, 2012 Author Posted April 18, 2012 Thanks Jeremy, we'll see how long it takes before I wear out my welcome Quote
Super User Raider Nation Fisher Posted April 18, 2012 Super User Posted April 18, 2012 I watch that show every day. My son absolutely loves it. I dare say I have grown very fond of it myself. Hope you have a speedy recovery Quote
Super User SoFlaBassAddict Posted April 19, 2012 Super User Posted April 19, 2012 MAAAAAWMM!! Phineas and Ferb are making a title sequence!! Eric approves of this show.... Quote

I know a lot of people who have re-injured their shoulders because they thought they were good to go even though their docs told them they weren't. I hear that. Two weeks after I was released from the Dr. the pain was getting less and I had full mobility back in my arm. I forgot to take it easy and started doing regular stuff again. Torn my shoulder up almost the way as the first time. Quote
