Bassnajr Posted November 14, 2009 Posted November 14, 2009 Just checking with folks here...they look nice, but??? If they are OK, anyone have a good source to buy them from??? Thanks, Alan Quote
CRANKSTER Posted November 14, 2009 Posted November 14, 2009 H2O xpress is academy sports' "house brand". I have several of them and really like them. Good colors, sizes, and every one I have purchased has run true out of the box. They also come with VMC hooks. In my honest opinion, they're the best "house brand" baits I've used. Well worth the $3-$4 each. You can purchase them from academy and sometimes on ebay. Hope this helps. Quote
guitarkid Posted November 14, 2009 Posted November 14, 2009 I agree, some call them "poor mans Lucky Craft" -gk Quote
Super User grimlin Posted November 14, 2009 Super User Posted November 14, 2009 They get the from me. You can fish them a little more aggressive without worrying about losing them like the more expensive baits. Quote
Super User Gatorbassman Posted November 15, 2009 Super User Posted November 15, 2009 I've been fishing them since they first came out. They are my #1 crankbait. I just baught a couple dozen more last week. Quote
shutupnfish Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 I've had success with their shallow cranks and "sammys". Yesterday I finally threw the bluegill swim bait and they were hammering it. Can't complain about the price either. Steve Quote
bigtimfish Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 I no longer use Strike King cranks because of them. They work too good and are very well priced.Especially the topwater and wake baits. Quote
guitarkid Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 Hey fluke what do you throw the deep divers on ? 12# test felt a little flimsy for that heavy of a crank. -gk Quote
Bassnajr Posted November 15, 2009 Author Posted November 15, 2009 I am sensing on these...very good!!! Thanks guys! Quote
Skeet22 Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 I have not used another crank since trying the square billed shallow diving sexy shad crank. The fis have been hammering this thing.. Awesome baits! Quote
mattm Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 They smoke simular priced cranks and hold their own with any in my box. If I didn't like having a bizillion colors I wouldn't buy anything else. Quote
Clyde Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 I bought five more last night but there stock was low. I am gonna go back in a week or so and buy some more. They look like great cranks and it gives me a cheaper way to fill my box with lures. Then maybe later replace them as I find colors and styles I really like. Quote
Cburgert Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 I would like to know were to find these lures. I would like to get some but can't find a store that ships them. Quote

Elite Image Fishing Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 I had doubts too. Bought some last week at Academy. They won me 3rd in my last tourney. Great colors. I will be using their products in the future. Those bluegill swimbaits are 9 bucks and they look absolutely sick! Quote
Skeet22 Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 Here is a pic of one of many reds that fell in love with the sexy shad last weekend!! Quote
L a r r y Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 I've picked up a couple of their hard swimbaits, I did see them and thought the colors looked pretty nice. If I'm not mistaken, they have a 6 pak frog set that looks ALOT like the SPro frogs, anyone have any info on those? Quote
Steven Ladner Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 I had doubts too. Bought some last week at Academy. They won me 3rd in my last tourney. Great colors. I will be using their products in the future. Those bluegill swimbaits are 9 bucks and they look absolutely sick! I noticed those last time I was in there. The pattern on them is as detailed as it gets. Quote
Captain Obvious Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 I'm a big fan of the H2O baits. When you guys say bluegill swimbaits do you mean the ones that look like a shad/bass mix with a bluegill color? Or do they have a new swim bait that really looks like a bluegill? Quote
