The review I read about it seemed very impressive for such a reasonable price. Before choosing this reel for myself, I looked through several brands including Shimano since I'm a big Shimano fan. You should pick one up sometime. Quote

Super User roadwarrior Posted April 19, 2012 Super User Posted April 19, 2012 You can use any line you think is suitable for a 2500 series reel. I recommend #6 Yo-Zuri Hybrid which has a breaking strength of 11.9 lbs. Other options include Seaguar InvizX #10 or even 20 lb braid. Quote
