I use a 3/0 EWG with a weight, but mostly I use a speed craw as a trailer on a jig.

i love straight shank hooks. so a 4/0 vmc fastgrip.

If you mean the 4" super speed craw, it's a really good pitchin' and flippin' bait. I use a 3/0 EWG and a parasite head.
