I know allot of people like to look In The fishes mouth to see what it has been eating, but ever since I started fishing I have never seen anything in a fishes throat. Also I've never broken the line on a hook set.... Just curious to see what other things that are common place in fishing that you have never had happen to you?

I never hooked myself or someone else, never broke a line on a hookset, I guess the list would go on if I know the more common things

I've never lost a bass from jumping however I always lose them in the weedbeds.

I'll start with a big knock on wood. Never hooked myself or anyone else. Never ran my boat or anyone else's boat up on a bar while going WOT. Never botched a net job when it counted. Last and most important I've never not weighed fish in a tournament. With this said all of these things will happen to me in the morning.

I hooked my self once while trying to baitcast a saltwater penn open reel. The hook went into my calf and the more it went up my leg tyhe deeper it went in. I was a kid....It never happened again. I had about 4' of line out when i casted it.

Yall arnt fishing hard enough. If your not hooking your bestfriend in the throat with a rat'L'trap your not doing it right. And breaking line on a hook set, haha try a couple rod tips.

1. I never forget to put the plug in the boat.

2. I never forget to take the net.

3. I always remember to place a seat cushion out on the deck as per Virginia boating law.

4. I never forget my PFD.

5. I always net all hooked fish.

6. I have never had a fish get off next to the boat.

7. I have never gotten stuck on a sand bar or in heavy weeds and grass.

8. I have never had another big boat make big waves and rock me hard.

9. I have never had a jet skier bother me on purpose.

10. I have never forgotten my lunch.

11. I have always been able to retrieve all of my hung up baits.

12. I have never spilled JJ's or Spike It on a boat seat or carpet.

Just some things that I never do......right.

LOL cowgirl, I am guilty of it once. We were fishing out of a 10' Jon boat, I told him to sit down so I could make a long cast. He thought he saw me cast and stood up at the wrong time. Got 4 hooks to the cartilage surrounding his trachia. The worst part of the whole situation, when I called 911 to see what to do they sent an ambulance. Took him to the ER, sat there for 3 hours with said ratltrap hanging from his neck only to have a DR come in and cut the hooks and pushed them thru. All at a hefty cost of $1600, I was able to retrieve the lure from the hazardous waste bin though. I have not and will not fish a ratltrap ever again, SK redeye only.

When I was kayaking fishing I had a jet ski fly by me on purpose. I had to bail so my boat wouldn't flipped. I cussed him out.

So far no one has mentioned anything that has NOT happened to me. I guess that makes me old, too CATT.

In fact I can add a recent one from this week:

as I got on plane and my bow levelled out my trolling motor prop flew off and landed two feet from me.

I guess just about everything has happened in 60 years of fishing.

I'd lop off one of my non functioning testicles to be Catt's age, he's still a kid.

Never been hit by a coot, never been hooked by a treble, never lost a fish, wait all those have happened. But I have never had a 20+ lb sack at weigh in.
