I have always fished the c-100, c-4, and c-2 canals but lately I decided to try out the everglades for some bigger bass. The only place I know to go is the canal that runs down tamiami trail west of krome.(thats all I have access to bc I don't have a boat) I haven't had any luck yet and was wondering if you knew of any other bank access around this area thats any good.

I would fish residential lakes before I fished Tamiami from the bank. There are big fish in some of those lakes. Google earth your area there are lakes everywhere.

I'm up in Delray, for the most part the canal fishing around here has been poor all year, but residential ponds have been pretty good. For me anyway I've seen the bass fishing cool down quite a bit in the last few weeks, this is the time of the year when I put bass on hiatus until December. I did catch but one yesterday 5-6# in the late afternoon, the beach fishing is starting to improve, I hit Juno in the morning.

Do you know anyone that lives in a development? I usually have great luck in them. I hate canal fishing to be honest. Maybe a local park.
