Nashua Nev Posted April 10, 2012 Posted April 10, 2012 I have downloaded and used google earth on my computer. is there anything better? I am basically just looking for small water in the vast New Hampshire landscape. and places where a small river may widen up and get bigger as it winds its way thru the woods. Does anyone know of anything that will work off the new 4th generation IPOD touch when it is not connected to wifi? (its an awesome toy for music and pics but no data) I do not have a phone that uses data. My cell phone is simply that , a $10 per month cell phone. I know if i upgraded to a phone with internet and data i could get what i want but at a cost of $50ish a month i wont do it. Quote
Aluma-Bass Posted April 10, 2012 Posted April 10, 2012 sometimes bing.com maps are more clearer then google maps but not always...On certain lakes in my area i can see shallow water structure ,humps etc better on bing then i could with google. Quote
PLombard68 Posted April 10, 2012 Posted April 10, 2012 I recommend getting the NH atlas and gazetteer made from Delorme. It has all kinds of small fishing holes all around the state as well as hundreds of trails and ways to get to them. http://store.randmcnally.com/road-atlas/state-atlases-specialty-atlases/delorme-atlas-and-gazetteer-new-hampshire.html Quote

bass crazy Posted April 10, 2012 Posted April 10, 2012 You might be able to get the gazatteer in wallmart in the sporting goods department. I belive I have seen it there. Northern bass supply has them in stock in Brentwood, Nh if you get down that way also. Northern bass also has the Clarks fishing guide with boating acess points and some good info on bass ponds and lakes. I recomend getting one if you do have one allready. Quote
