Bryce C Posted April 10, 2012 Posted April 10, 2012 war eagles and red dirt spinnerbaits for me..... Quote
airborne_angler Posted April 10, 2012 Posted April 10, 2012 For me its a toss up between Rick Clunn Lucky Strike Trickster and a Strike King Bill Dance Spin Dance . These are the only spinnerbaits I have really spent time throwing, and have had success with. The fish in my avatar was caught on a Spin Dance Spinnerbait. Though not a "giant" fish,I feel its pretty respectable. Quote
Mike__D Posted April 10, 2012 Posted April 10, 2012 Wareagle for premium and strike king for standard. Mike D 1 Quote
Aluma-Bass Posted April 10, 2012 Posted April 10, 2012 Dave's Tournament Tackle War Eagle Terminator Quote
wisconsin heat Posted April 10, 2012 Posted April 10, 2012 Peppers baits are AWESOME, they are made with quality hooks and blades, the skirt colors are awesome, ball bearing swivel, the arm is the perfect size (most are too long), the blades are spaced well, and best of all they are $4.49 - $5.49 Quote
outdoorsman110 Posted April 10, 2012 Author Posted April 10, 2012 Also to my list, H&H spinnerbaits. Quote
Super User Hooligan Posted April 10, 2012 Super User Posted April 10, 2012 Northstar. It's basically the only spinnerbait I fish anymore. I will, on very rare occasion, throw a Hawg Hustler, but over all, it's Northstar. Quote
Super User eyedabassman Posted April 10, 2012 Super User Posted April 10, 2012 I too like the Northstar, Best made that I have fished. I like the new gill and perch. Quote
endless Posted April 10, 2012 Posted April 10, 2012 Right now I am in a search for a good spinnerbait. So far I like the War Eagle. Quote
Vinny Chase Posted April 10, 2012 Posted April 10, 2012 NorthStar. Best quality and selection hands down. Quote
Super User Catt Posted April 10, 2012 Super User Posted April 10, 2012 Until y'all thrown a Stanley Wedge, Vibra Shaft, or Vibra-Wedge y'all have no idea what flash & vibration is! Quote
TourPT Posted April 10, 2012 Posted April 10, 2012 Hildebrandt Okeechobee Special Others have copied it but I prefer the original Quote
Super User smalljaw67 Posted April 10, 2012 Super User Posted April 10, 2012 My own... I began making my own as nothing on the shelf matched what I wanted and needed. Quote
WookieeJedi Posted April 10, 2012 Posted April 10, 2012 So far, Northstar and War Eagle seem to be pretty popular. I'm looking to get into spinnerbait fishing, I have held a baseless bias against them for years. Quote
Super User bigbill Posted April 11, 2012 Super User Posted April 11, 2012 Manns Classic Hank Parker spinnerbaits. From shore the 1/8oz white or chartruese hank parker spinnerbait is a killer. Every fish in the water will strike this spinnerbait if its setup correctly. Quote
Super User QUAKEnSHAKE Posted April 11, 2012 Super User Posted April 11, 2012 Secret Weapon Lures has worked well for me. With them can change swap blades/skirts no tools needed. They dont use swivels. Mine have a little piece of rubber for a "line keeper" so line wont work up wire. Not a big deal but nice little accompaniment. They use Mustad hooks. Got a 9.0 rating on another review site. Quote
Super User iceintheveins Posted April 11, 2012 Super User Posted April 11, 2012 1. Terminator 1/4 ounce c/w gold blades, gold shiner skirt 2. Pepper Custom Baits 3/8 ounce c/w silver/gold blades, white skirt 3. Terminator 3/8 Ounce c/w gold blades, gold shiner skirt 4. Terminator 1/4 Ounce w/w silver gold blades, skeeter skirt 5. Pepper Custom Baits 3/8 Ounce c/w silver gold blades, chartreuse white skirt Quote
gr8outdoorz Posted April 12, 2012 Posted April 12, 2012 Terminator and War Eagle for me. Although when they want a smaller profile, H&H original's are hard to beat in my opinion. Quote
Scorcher214 Posted April 12, 2012 Posted April 12, 2012 war eagles and red dirt spinnerbaits for me..... Wow, didn't know anybody else on here fished Red dirt's baits. I love their bluegill pattern. Did pretty well last year with that color on quad blade. I like booyahs, SK, doesn't matter too much to me. I've also tried the ko-man-chis. Havnt given them a fair try though, only caught a few bass and a muskie on them. I'm always scared to throw them. I bought 7 and lost 3 in on year. 1 from a pike and 2 other ones because I throw in to very snaggy areas. But otherwise they run great. Burn em real good and no rolling. Also started making my own this year. Quote
Super User BASSclary Posted April 12, 2012 Super User Posted April 12, 2012 The Ko-Man-Chis are the bee knee's you know. Unfortunately I'm down to my last one Other than that I love Northstar, and War Eagle makes a nice one along with Stanley. I cant tell you much more info because i'm not huge on the blades Quote
