LuckyHandsINC. Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 Just about everything said on page one turned out to be wrong. That's why you gotta love sports. On a side no LET'S GO RANGERS. Quote
Super User BASSclary Posted May 4, 2012 Author Super User Posted May 4, 2012 Caps are still in it. C-A-P-S LETS GO CAPS! Quote
SmokeRise1 Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 I'm still tired from watching that triple overtime gem the other night. Rangers have to solve Holtby early tomorrow night and put these guys away. Quote
Super User BASSclary Posted May 4, 2012 Author Super User Posted May 4, 2012 Oh I didn't even try to stay up for that. After the first OT I went to bed. And to be honest, Holtby is doing great, and i've been suprised he has so far, knock on wood. Quote
The one that got away Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 My team's out, but I'm still watching. No clear cut favorite out there, should be interesting. Quote
Hyrule Bass Posted May 5, 2012 Posted May 5, 2012 stuck at work today and have to miss game 4 of caps-rangers...and the Nationals-Phillies too...damnit may have to pull up a live stream online... Quote
Jaheff Posted May 5, 2012 Posted May 5, 2012 Whatever you do, don't pay attention to the King's till their holding the cup. Vancouver didn't know what hit them (yes, i know one of the brother's was hurt first 3 games). Now their gonna sweep the Blue's. Can't score on a goalie, you can't win. Quick will be MVP too. 1 Quote

This This This This. Huge Bruins fan here, but you could see going into the playoffs that the Kings were gonna be the toughest team to beat, even though they were the #8 seed in the west. Regular season records don't mean CRAP. The team playing the best hockey the last 3-4 weeks of the season is usually the team that's gonna take it all. With the way Quick is playing and the life Jeff Carter injected into that offense, I can't see them being stopped. BTW, the trade for Carter was GENUIS. I had Quick and Carter on my fantasy team this season, too : )) Quote
senko_77 Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 If the Preds get put out, I'm rooting for the Kings. Quick is a beast! What a STUPID move by Trotz to keep AK46 and Radulov out of game 4. Radulov is an extremely talented scorer and since teams haven't seen him the last 4 years, he's got even more of an advantage. The Preds are starving for offense and I don't get why after passing down his 1 game suspension, he didn't put them back into the lineup. Shakin my freaking head. Quote
SmokeRise1 Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 NYR 3 Caps 2 - OT. As much as I like staying up until after midnight during the week, wearing a path in my carpet while the dogs try to figure out what is wrong with me, this is the kind of Over Time Playoff Hockey I like. Tie it up with 6.6 seconds left in regulation and then put it away at 1:35 if OT. Caps will be tough on home ice on Wed. Quote
quanjig Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 Could not believe how the last 90+ seconds of actual play happened. I almost puked! If the Caps can get a game 6 win, should make for an interesting game 7 in NY!! Quote

Hyrule Bass Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 watching the caps blow the last game made me literally sick. hopefully they can pull off the win tonite Quote
Jaheff Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 Is anyone gonna watch tonight? I want NJ to atleast step it up a little bit. Quote
The one that got away Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 I'll be watching, I think LA is closing it out tonight. Quick is too hot right now. Quote
MrSwimJig Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 The Kings just flat out got hot at the right time of the year. Its all about carrying over the momentum into and thru the playoffs. I believe they will close out the Devils tonight. The Devils just look flat! Quote
