I just heard Jose Wejebe, the host of a fishing show on the Outdoor Channel, died Friday when he crashed his single-engine plane in a field near Everglades in Florida..

His plane had just taken off from Everglades Airpark around 4:40 p.m. and it crash landed in a field just off the runway,” said Jamie Mosbach, a spokeswoman for the Sheriff’s Office.

Man I'm honestly bummed to hear that. He had one of the few saltwater shows I enjoyed. Anyone know how long Spanish fly was on the air? Gotta be 15-20 years.
