I caught a Goby today fishing for crappies on hair jigs. It was pushing 6-7 inches. Anybody know what the biggest recorded Goby is? Wish I took a picture of this thing......

I have seen them up to 12" out of Erie.

Yep, they're getting bigger and bigger. Someone's got to invent a goby swimbait.

WHOA!!!!! I have to admit this thing had some fight in it. I thought they stayed around 3-4"?

iv caught a few over 8" in small lakes up here fed by erie and ontario i usually toss em in the rocks to die

Might be a long shot, but the All American Trash Fish might do a decent job of impersonating one of these guys. I dont know how their fins look, but you might could trim a few fins to make it look right

There are several goby bates on the market, just found a pack of SK's I'm going to use next Erie trip

I have the Storm version. Never got a hit with one. Kinda surprising considering how good they look and how much Poorboys and Gulp don't look like a real goby, yet work fantastically.

LOL, I forgot about those things.

I used those at erie!! I caught a bunch of smallmouth in the marina in Westfield NY with my cousin.
