KlubbaT Posted May 19, 2013 Posted May 19, 2013 Went to Arlington Mill in Salem for about an hour today to fish from shore. Caught this guy on a jig with a Rage Lobster. Left scale in car so I'm not sure how much he weighed. 2 Quote
MikeOGNR Posted May 19, 2013 Posted May 19, 2013 Good fishing guys no fishing for me this weekend had to take my bow hunters safety course today for next season hoping to get out this week. Quote
jaystraw Posted May 19, 2013 Posted May 19, 2013 Here are some pics from the past two days of fishing... We hit Potanipo, Sunset, Zephyr, and Powder Mill... Powder Mill didn't produce any bass for us, all other spots did well. Sunset had no fish over 1.5 pounds on saturday though. (The last pic is from a week or two ago, it shows the gut).... Powder Mill is a tough place to catch bass IMHO. I've caught them there, and they are big, but just hard to find. I've never fished Zephyr..it's so close to the road I've just never bothered. Nice fish everyone!! I'm thinking of hitting Big Squam if anyone has been and has any tips. Quote
bobh64 Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 Great weekend of fishing did two days on Great East. Took some people new to bass fishing today and they both caught 4 to 3 pound size fish all day. I added with a couple more 5 pound fish to make ten total for me for the day. Saturday I volunteered my time and boat for the Dover Garrison school touch a truck day. well over 300 kids climbed a board and had fun with everything (horn, raising and lowering the motor, live well aerator) including some rubber ducks in the live well filled with water. We all must remember its the future generation we must impress upon how great the outdoors really is. Quote
Super User Shane J Posted May 20, 2013 Super User Posted May 20, 2013 I agree, and great job, Bob. Quote

MikeOGNR Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 Just fished Rocky Pond today, caught 2 2lbers around dusk on a tequila sunrise power worm. I am getting pretty sick of this place though as goes for fishing I fish there all the time and it just seems like I cant hook into any good sized fish. Anyone got any suggestions of places to try around Milford NH. I am willing to drive Quote
jaystraw Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 Hey guys, I got out with my buddy today at Spofford Lake (that's one for you Irishkid). Caught a lot of 2-3 pound LMB's, and this 4.5 pound smallie off a floating dock with a senko. I'm pretty sure I scared two chicks sunbathing on the rock pier with my hoots of excitement. Beautiful day to be on the water 1 Quote

My thoughts eaxactly seems like I just cant connect with the big one, but I will say the bigger ones of the bass I caught so far were during dusk and dawn. So I am hoping the big one will soon come. Nashua Nev Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 Going out today after school... No more lacrosse practice = more fishing!!!! ------------ Just remember , you are only in High School once in a life time. Enjoy those years with other kids your age including , Lacrosse , football etc... etc... you will never get those years back. My 20 yr old son regrets quitting high school team sports because he wanted to work 6 hours a week for minimum wage. He didnt regret it then but does now. There will be other times to fish , but no other times for high school sports or extra stuff. Just saying you can enjoy both. Quote
