bobh64 Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 You guys are killing me with all those pictures of springtime bass. Will be heading out next week after I set up the boat and make sure I didn't forget anything. Quote
OneShotOneKill Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 Any of you guys fish the section of Stumpfield that doesn't have a paved boat launch? I've never been to the side with the launch except during duck season. Quote
Nashua Nev Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 I have put in at the Launch area and gone left as far as i can as well as gone right as far as i can. mostly Pickerel left and pickerel and bass to the right. Under the bridge and into the real stump area. There are fish everywhere at stumpfield 2 Quote

Nashua Nev Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 After the Rage tail rigged weightless stopped working , i threw the popper into the Nashua river instead Quote
OneShotOneKill Posted April 20, 2013 Posted April 20, 2013 Couldn't stand sitting around with a bum shoulder so i went out today a half hour before sunset and got my first LM of the season on a KVD 1.0 square-bill crank. wasn't anything impressive but i feels good regardless. Quote
OneShotOneKill Posted April 20, 2013 Posted April 20, 2013 nice, feels good i bet. It was awesome, I couldn't believe out of everything i tried it came on a crankbait. I was also surprised to see some fish already guarding beds....but it is a pretty shallow waterbody Quote
OneShotOneKill Posted April 20, 2013 Posted April 20, 2013 On another note, anyone here going to be on the merrimack sunday? Quote
Super User Shane J Posted April 20, 2013 Super User Posted April 20, 2013 Sunday looks like it's gonna be Northwood for me. Tomorrow and Monday will be on Bow.Wednesday just opened up, don't know where I'm headed yet. Glad you got a chance to tighten a line there, bud. Quote
jaystraw Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 Hey Guys. nice to see some fish! I got out today on Cunningham Pond in the canoe and did OK. Went out from 3:30pm-6:00pm and caught 3 LMB on a Lucky Craft Slender Pointer. 2 of them were pretty small, but the third was a little over 3 pounds. All the fish were in 5-8 FOW around rocks. Terrible iPhone pic of the 3+ pounder. Not too bad for the first outing. Good times! Quote
bwillis Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 Put the canoe in at Hoyt Rd. Marsh on Friday evening. Managed a couple of 2 lbers and a pickerel. 1st bass was caught on a shakey head and the 2nd on a black/blue chatterbait. 1 Quote
Nashua Nev Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 Still early this year but perhaps last year. Did anyone fish silver lake in Hollis? I will drag my canoe thru the parking lot , across the road, thru the trees and down the beach. I hope it is worth the effort. Has anyone dragged a canoe or Kayak down to the pond in Auburn, is it Tower Hill ? I know people fish from shore. Can i use waders there? Quote
MikeOGNR Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 I wont be starting fishing till May 1st I have no idea why I just always start that day I will probably be hitting up Rocky Pond or Lake Potanipo on Wednesday both places are in Hollis hoping to catch the big one. Quote

Nashua Nev Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 You dont have huge amounts of water in Milford and i have not fished the Milford area, Here are some i know about but have NOT fished. They are in the Milford area, depending on what part of Milford. Badger pond , Lyndeboro. Dream lake , Amherst Honey pot , Amherst Lincoln pond , amherst Little Baboosic ,amherst melendy pond , brookline osgood pond , milford silver lake in hollis , but you need to be there before the crowds start to show up to enjoy the water. 5 - 9 am once the weather hot weather gets here. Nashua Nev Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 One of todays at the retention pond on Tinker road in Nashua. Where the water can be seen from the highway at the Tinker road bridge where it goes over the highway. The small retention pond not the main part of the water. Quote
