Question for you NH folks - does anyone know if the Mendum Pond d**n has been repaired?  They drained the Lake in 2015 but haven't heard any recent updates.

The last I heard were the repairs are completed and the lake is filling up.

Thanks Bob.  I'm living down in Boston now so haven't ventured up that way yet this year.  Looking forward to spending some time up in the Granite State.

Got out on squam lake today. 13 hours of fishing with a ton of fish roughly around 15 smallmouth and 5 largemouth between the 3 of us fishing. Hands down best fishery in NH most fish came on wacky worms and jitterbugs. All in all fantastic day biggest was a 3lb smallie most fish averaged 2lbs

Great East time again

Nice day at Great East. Got there about 9am in some rain fished till 1 or so when the wind started to kick up. The ride back was through some 4ft swells that can kick up on that lake. Still was able to get about 2 dozen most of them this size. Casting to king of the hill structures (solitary structures) in 4-10 ft of water just kept producing the bite. Was even able to use the frog on the lily pads that are popping up. All in all a good day of fishing.

Hi everyone! Just stumbled upon this forum and had to sign up and join the community. I have been fishing just over the border in Pepperell and Tyngsboro the last few weeks avoiding my favorite, the Nashua, cause the water level has been so d**n high. We are getting rain tonight but I am sick of holding off any longer!!! Fishing the Nashua end of it tomorrow morning, anyone having any luck this past week in there? I fished the Pepperell/Groton area 2 weekends ago and it was super slow. My biggest fish so far this year in pic. 3.5lb on a hollow body frog bank fishing a dinky pond near my office.

Fishing Saturday but 2 people called out on me so going at it alone. Fishing Horn Pond on the border with NH and ME should be some good sized ones nibbling with the fronts moving in again in the afternoon.

Did Horn Pond today.Today it was the smallmouth doing the show, biggest was about 3 lbs for smallmouth but 4 lbs for the largemouth. I caught 3 times more smallies. This place is normally known for it's very decent size largemouth. With those storms going through today it got the fish excited in the morning then no bites by noon time. green pumpkin jig with blue chiggar craws, texas smoke 5 inch senko (basspro color) wacky rigged then a black bodied chatter bait paired with a keitech fat impact silver flash. this was fished through all the grass and pads sitting in 1-3ft of water.

Fished Great East with a friend today, Got off the lake just before the heavens crashed all around us. Only a half dozen today. For some reason it was a hard catch. All were on a jig slowly dragged off deep submerged rocks. 10-20ft. Most were all females eating for the first time all their bellies were sunk in. Black blue jigs with a green pumpkin chigger craw.

Ventured out of MA for a 1-hour ride to Massabesic Lake on Saturday morning 5am-12. We had some dink smallies on spooks early in the morning fishing transitional spots, but not many. A bunch of hits. We moved on under the bridge to the other side and fished dropoffs and surrounding grass/pad areas burning 3/8-1/2oz spinnerbaits with Keitech trailers and pulled a few hefty largies and couple dink smallies. A bunch of reaction strikes. Fun morning. Would definitely go back - just need to get myself an NH license instead of buying daily licenses each time.

I was going to try and fish it from shore or drop my kayak in. Wasn't sure how the fishing was but theirs only one way to find out!

Fished Lee's Mill on Winni Sat. Slow day only 4 fish caught all but one smallmouth. A 100 boat tournament will be there next Sat.

This past weekend was brutally slow for us.

Does anyone know if Lee's Pond is accessible via the main lake in lee's mill? Would be in a bass boat. Have yet to check this area of the lake out in person..

Spent 8 hours out on the water late Saturday night through early Sunday, lots of activity from the beavers on my home pond but only one tap from a fish all night.  I tried t-rigs, poppers, spinnerbaits, chatterbaits and a jig.  Only thing to get a nibble was the t-rig
