I'm originally from Brownfield. I used to work in North Conway for years. Kezar Lake is a great fishery. Big bass and big trout too. Id try and stay close to Kezar Lake. You spend a week there in early June.... You are sure to get some lunkers !  There are a few places to stay in the area.

Got out today after work at a nice little secret spot up near my camp. Got about 4 of these pickerels in about 4-8ft of water on the basstrix swimbait reeling slow and steady. Feeling a hog in my future can't get enough of these swim baits the 6in and 7in in rainbow trout and perch colors were the ticket.

Exactly how long do you you expect to keep your "secret honey hole" a secret?  By the way, if you go across there to that far East shoreline in the background, to the right of the beaver hut, in the cove where the rocks come down to the water, there's a hump out about 20' from shore, with 7' water on the back of it. Stay back, cast onto the rocks, drag your bait into the water, and slow roll it by that hump. See ya around, and think, McFly!!

When those pads come up hold on hogs are coming.

Sadly spot burning happens far more often then we think. I don't post many pics anymore because I know people who post here ( not necessarily on his thread ) have figured out some of the spots I like to fish from my pictures. I have run into them on the water. It takes a lot of time, effort and dedication to find really good spots. It sucks the reality of the situation is that  some people on here will try to figure out where you caught your fish from the background of your picture. When I post pics I now only post pics that cant give away a spot or lake. I don't mind telling people spots or techniques to help them catch more and bigger bass.  I cant stand people who instead of trying to figure out spots on their own decide to figure out your spot from your picture.  I do realize most of us on here don't do that but it is the few that do who really get on my nerves.

I totally understand that. I'll just say for the record I found that spot on my own and I respect all of you who catch big bass at your own spots it definetly is a grind and to put in the time at your spots.

This kind of tough though, I mean if someone like goes through the effort to find a spot from a picture they probably really care about the sport, and I guess I wouldn't mind them fishing my spot.  I'd be worried if they told people though.

It is far tougher to find good spots that produce trophy class fish then for someone to look at your picture and find your spot. I guarantee that more time and effort goes into finding a trophy producing spot then some yuppy on a computer attempting to find your spot so he can catch fish.  Some of those spots have taken YEARS to find and fine tune. To have someone click on your picture and find your spot in a few minutes or hours....Guys that spot steal like that... Should probably spend more time fishing and becoming a better angler then staring at pictures on there computer trying to figure out where your spot is. Individuals like that, in my opinion, are terrible for  the sport. They seek instant gratification and results without putting in any hard work to attain it.

I've been finding most of my fish in 2-3' of water, these are smaller bodies that must be a few degrees warmer than bigger places.. I struggled in a larger spot I was fishing which could have been for a number of reasons but I definitely noticed a water temp difference just from touch. I probably wasn't fishing deep enough in this spot and should have probably slowed down a bit.. I ended up going back to where I had some success a few weeks ago and nailed this 4.71 pounder on the same swim jig...

that sux mainebass, i call these people spot suckers,.. many times i've taken people fishing on my boat and brought them to some good spots , showed them what to use there, only to find them fishing those spots after they bought a boat of their own, all be it, in a tourney or not,..

. really raised my ire, so now i keep the best spots to myself, and my kids,.... If you have spot suckers using pics, they probably cant fish those spots right  anyways

Went out and smoked em today.  All were shallow, and every single one of them was on wood as well.  Jigs were the key.

I have fished it only from shore.   easy to launch a yak or canoe.   let me know how you do.  its on my list.  to fish both sides.  the bridge side first.

Pads are really starting to come up on the Nashua River. Been using mostly Rebel pop r and live target frog popper with some success. Hula popper has been great at calling out the big girls. Starting to switch to some hollow body frogs and the new hollow body sunfish.  A lot of soft bites happening lately too, maybe it's from the weather cooling down a bit. Nice fish everyone, tight lines

How far up do you usually go on the river? I've never been past like the first island that's there across the boat ramp from stellos launch

Got my new personal best on the Nashua River Sunday during the rain.     5.3 on a Rebel pop-r. He was up against a submergered tree.

How deep was the tree? Water temps must be up if there up in the shallows.
