BassHunter 66 Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 Thinking of hitting the Merrimac river up in concord, never tried below the launch before any ideas about what will work there? Quote
nhpleasantlakebass Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 I like fishing with tube jigs when I fish the Merrimack. I have also done well simple with a rage tail chartuese grub. Depending on the current I also like chatterbaits and or spinners. 1 Quote

sd15gibbs Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 Nhpleasant.....I caught that skipping a dock with a senko, belleau isn't very deep like pleasant. But I would say deep drop shot is the way to go this time of year. Good luck! Quote
mebisho Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 My arm has been rehabbed enough so that I can now pick up my canoe and load it in the car. It took 10 weeks but I'm ready to hit some ponds and pick up where I left off on Memorial Day. I hope to shred the waters like Tom Brady will shred defenses this year. We're both a little ticked 1 Quote
bobh64 Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 Well, it's sad to do this but the necessity of a replacing a motor on my truck out ways the toys. I will be selling my bass boat if anyone is interested it's 18 ft 2 inch long 96 inches wide, dual console 2004 Tracker Avalanche with a 2004 xr6 150 on the back the trailer is only 4 yrs old 101lb 36vt trolling motor spare props for both motors also includes 2 lowrance lcx-17m finders. 3 bank auto charger for the trolling motor batteries this is a tournament ready rig. if anyone knows about the Avalanche it is .125 thick (bullet proof) aluminum but you can not tell it from a glass boat. top speed around 60 when empty but able to cruise over 50mph loaded also has the best rear deck of any boat I have fished, this is a boat that can handle Winni! $9,000 can seal the deal I can go lower but wont deal with low ballers. private message me to make a time to view this. I still have the manuals for both boat and motor. Quote
mhtranger Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 Sorry to hear the news Bob. I will keep an ear out and let a few guys at work know. Quote

MikeOGNR Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Hey mike I see your on northwood lake ever come over to pleasant lake, I've caught some huge lmb out of there this year. Just wondering what other peoples experiences have been there and what they had luvk using. Yes I've been there a couple times on my canoe nice place. As for Northwood it's either a hit or a miss on that lake. It gets a lot if pressure nowadays do to easy access, but I still do pretty we'll my great grandfather holds the record on the lake with an 8lb 14oz bass and he also caught another 8lb bass out of there. Both are mounted on the wall. My luck there has been mostly with 7in cherry seed curly tail worms texas rigged. And also rage craw jigs. Here's the pics of some of my fish and my uncles that we catch there. I have caught a ton of big bass there as we'll, but these are the pics I have on my phone at the moment. Biggest thing there is knowing the secret hidden spots off the average shore bank, but that comes with time there. I've been fishing it for almost 11 years. 2 Quote
