llPa1nll Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 Anyone going to try and get out this weekend? I am going to try see what comes of it. My launch is wide open, 1 Quote
mhtranger Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 Love to but boat is sleeping for the winter. Weekend looks like some nice weather. Quote
salmotrutta Posted December 22, 2014 Posted December 22, 2014 A couple from Friday.Bass were stacked around green weeds. One hole produced 5 in about 15 minutes. Quote
bobh64 Posted December 22, 2014 Posted December 22, 2014 I wish there was more ice but soon to be in the 50's and lots of rain. Have a safe and happy Holiday all, and may your tackle gear increase from it. 1 Quote
crankbank Posted December 27, 2014 Posted December 27, 2014 No, Deaknh03 that wasn't me. I unfortunately was working. I don't even use the town launch as my access. If the weather stays decent going to attempt to get out on Sunday again. Is the Cobbett's boat ramp open to the public? I have always wanted to fish Canobie but don't want to deal with the boat ramp... Quote

salmotrutta Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 Early ice is great. The bass bite has been excellent. 1 Quote
Nashua Nev Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 water has been moving fast in the Nashua river, near the dam at stellos it is almost not possible to launch. By wed morning it will be solid and not possible to safely launch. fishing has been real slow , but i have been using my depth finder looking for underwater structure around the sides and slower moving areas. not doing much fishing , just exploring with the depth and playing with the side sonar on a humminbird 598 i picked up. i need a lesson ar 3 or 4 on using this sonar / fishing finder. 2 Quote
nhbassin Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 During these frigid winter months, I know you are all wishing you were out on the water catching excessive amounts of obese bass. Since most of us are not (unless we frequent the power plant), I put together a video of some of the better fish my friends and I caught over the past 2 years. Enjoy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L-S90wk-6uA 2 Quote
Mainebass1984 Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 Sweet video nhbassin. You got some pretty impressive fish on there. One of these days I will figure out how to make a video. I saw a Champlain BAss Series shirt during your video. I am curious, who do you know that fishes the Champlain Bass Series ? 1 Quote

Sound like its an awesome series of well organized tournaments That is pretty cool. The Champlain Bass Series is best tourney trail on Lake Champlain. Very well organized with some very, very, knowledgeable anglers. I haven't fished any of there tournaments. I have thought about fishing with them as a co angler. I don't have much free time since I am fishing with another local club, Rutland BASS. This Tuesday I am picking up the Angler of the Year trophy. 4 Quote

Super User Shane J Posted January 19, 2015 Super User Posted January 19, 2015 And the river yesterday Quote
Mass Bassin' Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 my favorite pond in southern New Hampshire/northern Mass (the border splits it) is Tewksbury pond. I seem to have more luck on the side adjacent to meadow brook though. it becomes one big bowl of weeds in the summer, and it is great for frog fishing and punching. it holds some giants!!! 1 Quote
Super User deaknh03 Posted January 20, 2015 Super User Posted January 20, 2015 Meanwhile... Back in Alaska shocker..ice fishing while drinking beer..isnt that a state law? 3 Quote
Mainebass1984 Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 How bout them Patriots!!! One heck of a win. They made the plays needed to win that game. That 4th quarter performance by Brady was one for the ages. Greatest quarterback of all time. Seattle couldn't make the plays on offense or defense during crunch time. I am sick of hearing about all the conspiracies and crap from all the Patriot haters. I want to sink there boats. 2 Quote
