Fishing today with a bunch of friends for a one fish tournament. Taking my dad this time should be fun with the weather out today if we are able to dodge the rain.

Anyone fish Canobie lake lately? Also do you know what the fine is for parking at the launch? I am not a salem resident and don't want to park at the pumping station.

post-47902-0-47482900-1411315625_thumb.jCRANKY BASS.Gave Harvey Lake another chance to hopefully produce some bigger fish than the last trip.10 min. into the day the rain came down hard with some good winds.Started off with a Bomber 2A crankbait in the red craw pattern.Never had to take it off the rest of the day.The LM were inhaling it.Lost count but nothing over a pound and a half again.

Anyone fish Naticook in Merrimack lately? Not feeling canobie today.

I was there yesterday, 15 bass, 10 pickerel, and a giant bluegill. The biggest bass was about 3, caught on a shad rap. I was going to back there today but no parking due to kids football. So I went to Horseshoe and had my best day there yet. 7 bass several perch and crappie and a few pickerel . Biggest bass was about 4 on a chatter bait. First fish on that lure, I'm convinced. Both days had the waters to myself

Did Mousam Lake in ME today in this crazy weather, Did a lunker tournament with some good friends ended up second with a 3lb fish taking home $40 first was a ounce heavier then me. The rain and the fact they lowered the lake 6 inches did not help the fishing at all. the only pattern I could find was finding down trees from the shore to the water and hitting them with wacky rigged senko's black with red neon. I threw everything in my arsenal including rattle traps and rage craws. Hope everyone else had luck in the water.

Sooo I show up to our spot at 5:45 in an absolute downpour... I said what the hell and we embarked out on our wet trip. First fish of the day was ona Yo-zuri pencil bait and went around 2lbs... I switched up to the biggest of the livetarget mice and immediately had a real nice blow up at least 4lbs, prob bigger, but the rain was so loud and it was still pretty dark so it was pretty hard to detect a hit... But I did see the fish fly out of the water just didn't get a good hookset on him. Then moved to a spinnerbait and caught one close to 3 then a 2.75 on back to back casts with my brand new Lew's BB1 (LOVE IT)... When the sun was up we mainly fished a drop shot and pulled a bunch of small ones, until the last cast of the day a 3.5 was caught on a T-Rig...

Got out for 2-3 hours this evening and fished a hollow bodied frog, jig + rage craw, and a squarebill crankbait. Only managed one bite the entire time, a 2 pound 8 ounce largemouth on the jig + rage craw. Has anyone been seeing bigger fish moving shallow yet?

The last couple times they have been on deep isolated offshore structure and they have been shallow as well. The last time out the horny toad caught 3 over 4 lbs in less then 3 feet of water the biggest being 4 lbs 10 oz. Off shore structure has been producing for bigger fish as well. I have been seeing water temps around 62-64 degrees.

I see your personal best is 9 to 10lbs? Not around here correct? I have yet to see anything over 7lbs around here. I believe SHANE from this fourm has the biggest to date.

Hopefully will get a couple 7s before ice up.

Last year my biggest fish were caught in late Oct and early Nov. Biggest fish I ever got was caught last year in Nov, a 9 lb 1 oz largemouth.

Anyone here use a PVS system for their mercury outboard? Found out I have a prop that allows me to fine tune my hole shots. Picked up some medium size hole plugs to see if there's any improvements.

I have never seen a 9 pounder ever caught around here and I have been fishing along time. All kidding aside I would need to see that on a scale. As far as the stamp goes all cell phones are capable of adding a stamp or digital camera. . This is for NH waters only so if you fish them you can play along.

NH only ?

Lame

I have a video of the 9-1 on a scale. PM me your address and I will send it to you. I also have some pics of it on a measuring board. It was on here last fall when I caught it.

It does say any luck in southern NH. I was invited to participate on this thread from other guys that frequent it, Shane, Jiitterbugger, Nashua Nev, unh bass amongst others. Until very recently I did not see you regularly participating in this thread. If you care to look back on this thread you can see that I have been a very active participant. I have had the pleasure of meeting and competing against some of the participants of this thread. I have been more then forth coming when members that frequent this thread have messaged me with questions. I am actually supposed to be fishing with Shane this weekend. He wanted to come to Maine and target big fish. Jitterbugger started a similar monthly competition that was called "who wants in" check it out. We started it last fall and it was quite fun. It ended this past august. You want to keep it NH then that's fine. In reality all the fish I catch are less then 2 hours from southern NH, I fish in Southern Maine. If you want to call me out on the 9-1, if you don't believe me, believe that I caught a 9-1 then like I said I will gladly send you the video and the pictures.

I haven't been around due to a divorce in which my boat was on freeze along with work. We welcome everyone here, but I was just trying to see if what the biggest bass to be caught in southern NH. If feelings got hurt I apologize.

No, I caught a 9-6 in Mass. Great fish on a Bill Plummer Super Frog on a hot July day around noon
