YungAngler Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 Jitterbug, your dedication is producing some great fish. Keep it up. I enjoy seeing your pics. Quote
mhtranger Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 That stinks to hear. Hope you find something quick. I have been out of work for 2 months now from an injury and just got the ok to start fishing from the Dr. I will be on Mendums Sat and Sun for the first time this season. Quote

I have been out of work for 2 months now from an injury and just got the ok to start fishing from the Dr. I will be on Mendums Sat and Sun for the first time this season. Thanks for the words. I've been with the same company for 6 years, so it's probably time for a change. I haven't hit Mendum yet this year, but I love that place. Such a fun lake with hardly any boaters. Maybe I'll see you out there over the next few weeks. If you see a green Nucanoe, that's me. Feel free to say hello. I've yet to meet anyone on this board in person. 1 Quote
YungAngler Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 I just booked my flight for Nashville Jul 3rd thru the 8th. My brother in law owns a house on Center Hill Lake, and he doesn't fish. The lake is 64 square miles. I dropped a note in the Southeast section looking for a good guide. I'd like to fish at least 2 days with a guide while I'm there. Should be interesting, as I've never fished down south. Gonna bring some heavier line for sure!! 2 Quote
OneShotOneKill Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 Been doing some work with the Rage Lobster the past couple outings. And yes, the two fish I'm holding up are actually separate catches about an hour apart. 2 Quote
MikeOGNR Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 Haven't been really able to get out much as of all graduation preparation and last time hanging with friends and all. Also to mention as of Tuesday if my medical clearance goes well I will officially be apart of the USMC. Anyways enough of my spiel, I will probably be going out Sunday on Northwood Lake. I wish you all much luck in your fishing journeys this weekend. 2 Quote
bobh64 Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 Spend as much time celebrating graduation with friends as possible, been over 30 years for me and still relish the thoughts of the last days of high school. My hat tips for your future service and a big thank you for volunteering for the USMC. Quote
Bassintheweeds Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 Hey guys, its been a while. Life has been insaine between prom nearly a month ago and graduation last weekend. Been having crazy work hours but I've managed to get out in the yak a few times with my buddy's. Been hitting panther a lot and a few other lakes but here are the highlights. Quote
Bassintheweeds Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 Also had a run in with a 14 inch largemouth with a piercing... 1 Quote
Phauren Posted June 15, 2014 Posted June 15, 2014 It looks like I might be in New Hampshire for most of July, so looking for a partner or 2 to hit up my secret spot near northwood. I might drag my john boat out there. 2 Quote

Mainebass1984 Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 Did anyone else on here fish the Kezar Lake tourney yesterday ? It was super super windy and the bite was a little slow. Caught several 3 lbers but just couldn't get that big 5 lb plus bite. Bummer. Next time perhaps. 1 Quote
Nashua Nev Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 11 fish this morning all 15 - 18 inchers , nothing bigger. Good numbers in the Nashua river lately , just no big ones. Todays choice Purple senko , and white weedless mouse on top of the lilly pads. Launched from Stellos and followed the shore on the same side all the way around the corner and past the boat docks. Stumps, trees and lilly pads 3 Quote
NEjitterbugger Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 Also had a run in with a 14 inch largemouth with a piercing... I've seen a few fish with hooks in em... Either already in there mouth or trying to be passed... Quote
bobh64 Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 Starting to really see the value of chatterbaits paired with a swim bait in both shallow and deep water applications. 2 Quote
MikeOGNR Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 I've seen a few fish with hooks in em... Either already in there mouth or trying to be passed... That's a good day brotha you get a fish and a free hook and with this economy you might wanna save those. Hahahaha Quote
Mainebass1984 Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 Tournament this afternoon on big ole Lake Champlain. Hopefully will run into a few. 3 Quote
NEjitterbugger Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 Last week of school and I've got work everyday so I won't be getting out on the water until Saturday... Shane and I are going smallie hunting! Lots and lots of quality smallies in this place, Shane and I are going to find some 4+ pounders 1 Quote
InfamousBG Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 Looking to get out on the water this weekend as long as I have a vehicle to get my boat their. Quote
mhtranger Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Just a quick question for you guys, what set up do you use to throw a spinner bait? I tried on a spinning combo and it felt like I was pulling a 50 lb weight. It was on a St Croix Bass Mojo 6'8" medium. BTW I can't stand this rod. Bought it for throwing Senkos and maybe dropshot. Nashua Nev Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Had about 1/2 hour to spare so i stopped at this little pond next to the liquor store where they are doing all the construction around the toll booth area between manchester headed to concord. Dragged the kayak down the dirt thru the trees and into the water. Only had about 1/2 hour. i found this tree , then found this tanker. did not get a good measure and did not weigh it. 4 Quote
Mainebass1984 Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Yesterdays tournament didn't go quite as planned. It was on the very southern end of Champlain and the fishing was tough. Finished in 4th place again. We needed a good kicker fish and we would have had a very good chance at winning. I have fished three tournaments this year and finished in 4th place in all three of them. At least I am consistent I guess. 8 Quote

That wouldn't happen to be Pinnacle pond would it? If so, I always wanted to try it out but never could find a way to it. How do you get to it if you don't mind me asking. If you don't want to give away any secrets I totally understand. Quote
Nashua Nev Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Nope , not Pinnacle. I have been looking for access there also. It is after that and before the Liquor store. I actually parked next to the loaders that are parked there for working at the rest area. Quote
