oil and butter(grease) them, I believe if your nice to your equipment they will be nice to you when the right time to depend on them comes.

Had to do it. Was at the mall today and they were having a sale clearing off there old stock I guess. So I picked up some more jigs for 2 bucks marked down from 4.98 and picked up another pack of the Craws and some Spinner Baits. My friend is starting to get into fishing as well so we made him a small box. Got him 2 packs of Berkeley Power Worms some 2/0 hooks and some bullet weights, 2 Spinner Baits, Popper ,Jitterbug, Frog. Figured this is a good selection to get him in the door and I told him once he mastered and learned those techniques decently we would throw him on some jigs. Didn't get him on Senkos I know they catch fish, but I feel like if he starts catching them on senkos that's all hell wanna really learn and I wanted him to learn all the basics and then look at the next step. Also got him 2 crank baits figured that should get him going then hell know really what all other baits are based off of.

When I take people out fishing for their first time I usually set them up with a Senko. Senkos catch fish. Catching fish is important to get people hooked on fishing, especially the first few times. It is a great lure for catching numbers of bass. I have caught some giants on them too, well over 8 lbs.

When I take people out fishing for their first time I usually set them up with a Senko. Senkos catch fish. Catching fish is important to get people hooked on fishing, especially the first few times. It is a great lure for catching numbers of bass. I have caught some giants on them too, well over 8 lbs.

I never liked fishing Senko's. I dont know they never appealed to me, but I do know they catch fish and I have caught some good numbers of bass on them, but I just don't seem to like them

im a big fan of senkos. im gonna try the bps brand see if they work as good. its my go to bait when i cant get a bite from something else. and yes i am fairly new to the bass fishing scene so im trying to learn other ways.

Ok everyone this year I plan on fishing winni a lot this year. I know of some good spots in wolfboro, but other than that I haven't fished it much anyone got any tips on fishing winni? I wanna fish it more

Not sure but if you get a chance I recommend fishing bow lake around one of the islands or in the cove on the other side of bennetts bridge.

i guess either. i only have a 14ft aluminum so i think winni is a little big for me. never fished for bass there but did catch a good size one like 3 or 4 pounds under governers island bridge once. just have been out on uncles boat trolling for salmon, rainbow, and lakers

Not sure where your located but Bow Lake also has an amazing trout population but if you go on the Bow Lake, you will find that it has some pretty big smallies and bucket mouths.

Bps stick-o's work great. That's all I buy now for senkos. You get more per pack and they last longer. Now that being said if tourney fishing gy senkos are a must but for everyday fishing stick o's are great.

Do you wacky rig or Texas rig them?

i always rig senkos like texas rig but with no weight. gives it a slow fall before getting into the mil foil at stumpfield. and the price is what sold me to get some. i got the 104 piece box for 18 or 19 bucks. decent looking colors in it.

I prefer to T rig them myself, I enjoy the twitching action you can get from them.

 The gary yamamatos work very well. They are a bit more expensive then the other stick baits. A gy senko is much softer them any other stick bait I have ever tried. I prefer to use those or the senko imitation made by his sons company kinami. I have my favorite colors too and I do believe color can make a big difference. A lot of the real serious bass fisherman I know don't like senkos. They say anyone can catch fish on them and that they take no skill to fish them. I fish against them in a tournament using senkos and do well.  I usually fish them texas rigged weightless. If I am fishing deeper and want to slow down I fish them wacky using an o-ring. If you fish wacky styleI would suggest using an o-ring. You lose far fewer baits. Senkos catch fish, no denying that.

Hence why I don't fish them. I think if I used Senkos that's all I would use because they produce so many fish and I would never try anything else. Hence why I stick to my Top Waters, Spinner Baits, Jigs, T rigged worms. Basically all I would need for a arsenal of fishing. I will agree though Senkos do catch fish in numbers and I have caught a good amount of 3-4 lbers on them.

Also I will have you know I used to fish senkos on wacky rigs a lot and after awhile I just got bored of it. That is why I don't fish with them anymore much, but I have never tried to fish the T rigged.
