There are lots of fish in the river,  You have to learn it as it is so big.  My 6 - 7 LM and my 4 - 1 SM come from there.  close to the Stellos dam

I caught my 4-2 close to the cam right near the island area when you first go left out of the ramp at Stello's further up though seems like it would be interesting I noticed the fish we caught were holding on the edges of the thick weeds that ran parallel to deeper water. I'm going out there tonight to see if I can get on any pigs. With this full moon in swing to I feel as though I could catch some big ones at night aswell

Any pics from your fishing trip to PowderMill... Sounds like a nice day!

I do have a picture of the 4.9 pounder, It is on my camera, I'll put it up soon. I have a 5 lb limit with my pictures, 1-4 pounders just don't do it for me anymore lol. Fun to catch though.

Finished my fishing trip to Greg Lake this morning on my fishing Kayak. I caught 2 large mouth bass @ around 6:20-7:00 AM one weighed about a pound (didn't officially weigh him)  and the other I weighed at 2.1 pounds. Both hit off a hula popper, Black Skirt. I have been having great luck with the poppers as of late. Pictures so come, from my Powder Mill trip.

Man I'm glad you guys are having luck. I must really suck at fishing lately. Went to pawtuckaway this am and got one fish maybe a pound. I tried everything from swim jigs to spinners crank baits and senkos and not so much as a tap on the end of the line. I guess I need to try and go more west and see if I have any luck. I'm jealous of you all catching decent fish.

Pawtuckaway is just one of those lakes that's very hard to fish I have fished it multiple times when I am up at my camp and have gotten skunked. I think its just all the pressure that comes from all the campers that fish and also the people that fish there.

Went fishing at pennichuck pond today the only way to get in is through a brook that you have to paddle a mile to get into it caught 3 bass total all around about a pound nothing spectacular. Still trying to get that hog though before the seasons out.

If you're chasing a hawg, then throw hawg-catching stuff. Big jigs/trailers, huge Tx rigged worms and Lobsters, or swimbaits. Location is all over the road right now.

There's another access. Can't think of the street but look on google map view. There's a grass field to the west I think. If you look there's a trail there that is accessible and not a far walk with kayak cart etc. I spoke to a neighbor and they said as long as trash etc not left behind they don't mind people going in that way. They just don't openly advertise it. Just an FYI.

Anyone else fishing today? Im out here now, and not only is it beautiful now that the fog lifted, but the fishing is ON! Deeper water, slow rolled swim jig in the grass.

I might try to get out at dusk today with the overcast conditions I feel like we should get a bite on. Gonna go grab some 10in ribbon tail worms with 3/0 EWG hooks and go after the pig today.

It's a Maine lake, Arrowhead, I don't mind fishing in the rain just not heavy down pour stuff I did too much of that in my younger tourny days.

Recon is 10" with a bigger than that profile. Green Pumpkin is a good choice, but my fav is Falcon Craw.

Thanks Shane! I did some looking and looks to be it. The fish put up a good fight, Thought it was a good sized Pickerel at first. Then I saw the red body and I was like what the heck?
