Shane, those are some rediculous fish. Youve been KILLING them this year! Fmoore, I think you have inspired me to go to spofford between your monster smallies last year and that pike last week.

Went to Harrisville Pond yesterday, fishing was great! 21 fish in about 4hrs. Two 6lbr's a 5lb and a 4lb Bucket, rest were smaller fish. I hadn't fished there before, but I will certainly go back.

Jaystraw, how was Franklin Pierce? Did quite well there last year.

I had a fair day at FP. I was hitting it after two tourneys on the weekend, and a cold front had just moved in. I could barely make out the beds on the bottom because of the low light and the wind, and the bite just seemed off compared to previous years. I've loved that place in the spring the last two years when I lived in Hillsboro, but it was not a great day. I caught a good amount of fish, but only a few big smallies off of beds I knew from previous years. No big LMB's, and there are a lot in there. I might have just been having an off day.

Hope everyone has a great weekend on the water! Here's what I've been doing all spring (pic is from Sat) - biggest all the way on the left at 20 pounds. 15 bass total with some blues mixed in.

Took the 4 year old out for his first real fishing trip at my secret spot. I ended up with a solid 3 pounder, but the highlight of the day was when the little guy landed a 2lb smallie on his tiny zebco rod. He landed that fish like a boss.

That's awesome, Wagn! I love it when my little man hooks and lands a fish all by himself, it's an incredible feeling.

I havent been out fishing for a few weeks now, but I went out this evening and caught this 4 poudner on a swim jig with twin-tail grub trailer. My biggest of the season so far.

As far as I know there is no boat size rules as long as you keep under the 30mph. I fish there all the time with a canoe I launch off of 28 bypass near the no fishing zone. Excellent fishery with all kinds of species to be caught.

Anyone fish Sunapee lately? Headed there this weekend and was wondering if anyone knows where they are hiding on that lake.

Did some Maine fishing this weekend, Mousam and Little Ossipee if the fish were the same I caught all mine right on the shores edge's under the shadow of any bushes. skipped a wacky rigged worm weightless right under them.

Haven't fished Sunapee in awhile, but used to be one of my favorites, from some of my friends they say it's fallen off since an infestation of rock bass, which seems to be going on in alot of the lakes in that area, gd luck.

Nice video Wagn! Good to see the kids getting into fishing! Nice fish!

Thanks man. It was good to get out. With the two kids and my work schedule I can't fish as nearly as often as I used too. It's good to get on the water every once and awhile.

Have any of you guys been up to Newfound lately? I'm doing a tournament there Sunday with a buddy, and was just curious as to what's going on. Thanks.

Not newfound but fished winni all weekend. Fish are for the most part off the beds but still cruising shallow. Saw very few still on beds that I left alone to finish up the spawn. They are absolutely electric right now. (smallies) Hope that helps a little. Sorry its not Newfound exactly but they are similar bodies of water. I am in the meredith area so similar climate, weather, etc. Hope this helps a little. Good luck with the tourney hope others can chime in and help more than me.

Yeah it does, and thanks. I figured they would have wrapped up the spawn a while ago, so thats interesting.

Well you know what they say, fish are like people and are all different. Some may finish up in may others may take until mid june. Tight lines and good luck

Thanks, bud, and you're absolutely right. I was thinking trying up shallow first anyway, and if that doesn't work, then the drop shot will in some of the channel drops.

Good info on winni I got a club meet this weekend going out of Alton I myself wasn't sure where to look cause unfortunately I couldn't pre fish but shallow is good in my book

Not fishing any tourneys this weekend, but look for my boat. Blue and white 18 foot skeeter with a 6'4 guy on the front relaxing with a bud light and a fishing pole. Stress free weekend

Anyone have access to get onto Gumpas pond in Pelham,NH? Everywhere is now blocked off with NO trespassing signs. I fished there last year and there was no problem.

Anyone fish Turkey Pond in Concord? Can I get my bass tracker boat in there or is it Jon boat only? Thanks for the help.

I have fished turkey a few times with my Jon boat and twice with my buddy's bigger boat which is on a trailer. The launch on Clinton Street has a ton of big rocks that you have to navigate around on your way to the water, which is a pain, but you could do it. Ive done alright on the opposite side of the lake from the launch where there are little "islands" of bushes sticking out of the water.
