carySE406 Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 What do you guys use when you need to get deep but dont want a big profiled jig? I was thinkin about makin like a C-rig with a finesse jig on the end but I dont know how I would feel a bite with that or how it would work. What about trimming the skirt? Any suggestions? Quote
phisher_d Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 Have you tried these? Strike King Bitsy Flip jig. Even the 1/2 ounce ones are tiny.(don't know if they make them heavier than that?) Quote
carySE406 Posted March 6, 2007 Author Posted March 6, 2007 Exactly what I was lookin for, thanks Quote
Stringjam Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 The Bitsy Bugs are great little jigs. I bought a mold for Eakins style jigs and starting pouring heavy finesse jigs myself....the heaviest being nearly 3/4 oz, but still the size of a finesse jig - - that thing falls like a rock. Quote
