I quit your crappy forum because of all the ******** who preach about catch and release like it's a religion despite state games laws allowing harvest. Then there's the fervor to buy more stuff and gear...It's sickening having all that shoved down your throat when you just want to learn a little. I have unsubscribed at least 6 times and still get your junk mail. So maybe this will help you remember.

I'm quitting your forum because my feelings were hurt. I was only here for one reason and that's to suck all the information I can from you guys without giving anything in return. I mean look at me. I've been a member for three years and only have 16 posts and heck, this is my first post in over a year. I wanted it to be fast and free but I don't want to hear all the stuff about the advertisers. Who cares if they help keep it free. I just want it my way and because I'm not getting it my way I'm going to let everyone know that I'm leaving. I hope it hurts your feelings.

Just deal with it, I know C&R is the bible here but even I'll admit it has it's value. As far as subscribing, its optional in your user settings.

Sad really. I do not recall anyone berating anyone else for keeping some fish for the table. And even if they did, it's just another person's opinion. No one is telling you that you have to do this or that. It's just a discussion. And apparently, you have been less than willing to engage in this type of discussion, for what ever reason. I wish you the best regardless, as I'm sure most here do as well.

Silly, this is a bass forum, not a crappy forum.

Sadly this person will be allowed to breed and vote. *sigh*

what a waist.. that's not the way you quit a forum, if you really want to quit.

your suppose to get banned and the longer the ban the better a job you did, what a rookie.. your suppose to raise some hell poke some eyes and at least go out with a good show, it kinda sweet if you get to break every rule there is also before getting the boot

what a waist, i bummed out now. no show here people move along nothing worth following.

after reading the title i was expecting a thread about the person quiting crappy fishing (crappie) and joining the bass forum and bass fishing. guess i was wrong.

I have similiar views to the original poster, i keep a few fish every now and then, and i dont care what anyone on here says about it as it is legal. I also dont think you need 1000's of dollars worth of equipment to catch fish, but it sure would be nice to have it.

I am here for the good advice that is given out, the good articles, videos, gear reviews, classified, etc etc etc etc this is a very useful forum, but as with anything on the internet you have to weed through the not so useful info (like this thread)

Stiller, there is no need to be so dramatic with your exit. Just quit. You will not be missed, since most people weren't aware that you were here anyway. Bye!
