  1. So the past few times ive been to my favorite spot, ive not had good success. Ive been skunked about 3 times by all species of fish. The only time i didnt get skunked was when a 1/4 lb bass hit my kvd 1.5. I am most definetly sure the bass are in prespawn, as i can see them breaking water on the edge of the cove, right where it drops off. Oddly enough, the small bass i caught was when i tossed the crank into the cove. I cant seem to get bit on anything i use. Ive tried spinnerbaits, crankbaits, swimbaits, jigs w/craw trailer even tried nightcrawlers. Ive tried a jerkbait but im not sure how to really use it, i cant seem to find anywhere how to actually work it, only where to throw it. Should I try topwater lures if i go back and they are still breaking the surface? please help me, I need to catch a BASS!!!!!
