  1. Hey all, I can plan on getting 4 whopper plopper 75s for my clear water lakes up north here. The smallies smash my poppers so these should have success. The problem is I have 5 options so if you could help remove one that probably isn’t necessary that would be appreciated. - Perch - Munky Butt - I know it - Bone - Loon Ones you think would work in stained waters as well are nice because I fish largies down south. Thanks for any help
  2. So I went out to the Huron River today, had a rod with a jig w creature bait trailer, and one with a bone whopperplopper 90. I ended the day with only one large mouth, and a Bowfin! I’m very happy about the bowfin but I had probably 12 other bass swipe and miss, or get it and spit it out on the whopperplopper. Or they’d get it and I’d try to set the hook and it pops right out. I had a tank of a LM on the whopperplopper under a bridge and got it all the way to the kayak then out of nowhere just as i was about to land it, it pops off. It’s really just frustrating that I had that many bites and only landed one of them. What am I doing wrong?
  3. I've heard a lot about the Whopper Plopper bait and am looking to buy one in the near future. The only issue for me is picking the size, 90 or 130? In my lake we usually don't catch very large largemouth bass on a regular bases, normally around one to three pounds. For the price I don't want to get a lure that is too big or too small for the bass, so, what do you guys think?
