  1. Well we had our best day ever on this tough lake this past Sunday. We got on the water at 0800 and were off by 1600. We landed 11 bass in total, only 3 keepers. You might be wondering why I am so excited about this. Before Sunday, the most bass we have caught from this lake in one day was 2. The day was a day of firsts for us. It was the first time I have landed more than 2 bass (previously stated). The first time my wife landed more than 1 bass in a day at this lake, she landed 5 in total. It was also the first time she landed a keeper on this lake (a nice little fat 14 incher). It was also the first time I landed a fish using a bait caster (big accomplishment for me), while also being the first time I caught a fish while pitching. I seemed to get much more excited when I catch a fish here as opposed to other lakes. I think it is due to how hard this lake is to fish. It's safe to say we will be fishing here more often.
