Hey guys, thinking about trying some tube baits but not sure which ones or whether I need them. I have some Yamamoto Fat Ika's, do I need anything else? If so what kind and what kind of hooks?
okay I have been thinking about this for a couple of days now.
The rubber bobber stops you get that are on little tabs that you slide the line in and slip the bobber stop on to. i have seen this idea at some tackle shops. that a clear soda pop bottle and cut it in to 1/2'' long strips 1/8'' wide. drill three holes and BAM you have a stopper.
thread the line through the three holes to bind it. I believe that this will work with weights more than bobbers.
I was wondering if anybody has tried anything like this.
Hey Guys!
Im getting back in to worm fishing and I wanted to see what size of tungsten weights you guys use the most, what application, and your go to. Im also looking at finesse tungsten weights so drop shot ned rig etc. More advice the better!
Thanks!
im so angry right now. I usually don't get mad when i lose lures or have to break my line but this was it. I have yet to be able to fish from any location off the banks without my lure getting hung under a rock or something in the water. It doesn't matter what I fish with if it is not rigged weightless it gets hung. what am i doing wrong? anything? if i add a small 1/8 oz weight to be able to cast further it still happens. i think these things hate me. rigged up a carolina rig and a texas rig last night with a swivel and within 1 hour this morning they both got hung on rocks in the water. no matter the area they always seem to find that one rock and craw in it.. im not talking about right on the bank where the water stops i usually pull over that when it comes back in.. im talking about anywhere in the water that i cant get to at least 5ft away from the bank. I was so scared one day i tied on a bass jig and put a dang float on my line so it wouldnt reach the bottom (ha!)
Hi there! This is my first post, so bare with me. I've been fishing ever since I was young, however my dad only taught me the basic basics hahah.
So couldn't seem to find any posts on this anywhere. But when using a bobber, do you ever also use weights (small ones obviously). If so why. And if not why not? Thanks so much for the help!!
