Looking for a day on the river later this week and have already noted the levels are safely below flood stage. Just curious if anyone has had any luck out there so far this spring. Going to make the trip up there regardless, but weighing whether to go in that direction or over to Lake St. Catherine or Somerset Reservoir. Need my river smallie fix.
Hey all!
My friends and I are going to Vermont this weekend (Burlington). They slated out some time for me to fish in the early morning both days. We are five minutes from Shelburne Bay. I won't have a boat or yak for this trip, but what's the shore fishing like there? Is there a hot spot I should look for? Is it busy at like 7:00am? Any help is appreciated because I've never been. I also never caught a pike either so I'm hoping for that. Also, is there a bait shop nearby? Thank you so much for the help!

Hey guys, i'm thining about hitting lake memphremagog i heard there are some huge fish on this northern vermont lake. Anyone knows the water that I could PM??
I'm going to be renting a boat and fishing Lake Dunmore in a few weeks. I've heard it's a pretty good lake for both large, and smallmouth bass. Does anyone have any advice or experience fishing there?
Thanks in advance!
Hey there,
I am new to Vermont; particularly the Stowe Area.
There are plenty of places we haven't fished, but the ones we have, we've had no luck finding the bass.
Been fishing spinner, rubber worms, crank baits, and swim baits.
Just seeing if anyone knows some good spots in the area for big large/small mouth bass.
Catch and release or places to catch supper.
Thanks!
- Anthony
